Not really, because only Clash of Clans has reputation widely available. Other games do not. So, it does tend to be more focused on Clash.

I say keep both positive and negative reputation votes but remove the ability to leave a comment. As others have said, positive rep doesn't really work without negative. I'd also like to see the reputation vote as anonymous to avoid the situation where toxic PM's are sent in response to down votes.
I disagreewith this. Nuff said. Neg rep is a thing to make people post morw worthwhile posts. And now all peoplw get is hard punishments. No feedback.
Poor decision IMO. Diisagree strongly
Just going back to a question I asked earlier, are these new accounts leaving neg rep alt accounts? As I said earlier, I find it difficult to believe that hundred upon hundreds of individuals would sign up just to leave a toxic neg rep.
Hopefully a mod can answer this one.
i have also experienced this. i stopped giving any reputation, positivie or negative, mainly because of it. a reputation system where some users are fearful of using it isnt really an effective tool. i was effectively bullied into not using the rep system at all by giving a negative rep to the wrong toxic person. days prior to receiving the toxic pm from the offended forum user i had actually received a pm from a forum user im assuming is one of their friends, essentially warning me not to mess with their friend.
edit: yes, i know this sounds ridiculous ;)
I know you can’t go into specifics of who and when this occurred, but did you report this to the mod squad?
I’ve had a couple of similar situations where people have PMd me asking me to remove my post. I like to carry on that conversation in the same vain as the post that annoyed them. If someone gets offended by obvious humour, I tell a worse joke. Although I think I may just be missing the part of the brain that deals with social compliance.
Oh, and I’ve always told them to report my post if they don’t like it. On two occasions they have, and on two occasions the mod squad clearly agrees with me as the post stayed and I got no frowny orange inbox action.
I just ignore the PM's but that's me and not everyone is as thick skinned. So it's not from a personal perspective that I'd like to see anonymous rep but because I think it would help to stem the toxic and bullying elements that sadly infect this (and all) forum.
