Yup...same here. When the update came out I got disgusted and dropped from 2934 cups to 1800 cups and decided to start playing less. In 3 days I was back over 2600 cups on defenses alone. Now I just do one attack per day and 2 defenses to maintain cups.

Me and Lurker invented this army composition and way of farming DE...
(Though the Unity Alliance showed me the way of DE)

I've seen LLs replays hes an excellent De farmer! Defo worth following there advice.

One barracks making giants, one archers, one barbarians, one 10 wall breakers and rest goblins.
Only raid bases with 1200DE or more.

any tips for a th7 to farm 10k DE for a barb king? I'm at 1400 and all i see are th8s with heavily protected <300 DE.

You are wrong in so many ways, I just started doing this, so I don't have that much DE raided.
Also, I don't use all spells, I use like 1 spell per raid.
I also rarely use heroes, I feel like you didn't read this thoroughly and you just like criticizing people, so go somewhere else if you don't want to farm DE this way, no one's forcing you.
