I had always wondered how farm friends did that until recently seen it mentioned in another thread. Can't remember who it was so thank you for that tip! I prefer selling to my farm neighbors than putting it in ad. For anyone that wants to know how it's done uncheck the green checkmark to make it disappear before putting it on sale
For trading, also remember to uncheck this green mark to ensure that the trade will be smooth. Otherwise your trade items will be put in the newspaper and probably your farm visitor's count will go up very quick in no time and same for your lost of the trade items :p
I wish the default was set to not advertise. I hate when I don't intend to advertise and forget to uncheck the box.

I like eit the way it is I sell stuff for maxed price someones gonna buy it sooner or later :)
One more disadvantage of it is it will slow you down filling up your store as you must always uncheck all the items one by one if you don't want to advertise them compare to a single click on any of your rss items if you want to advertise them all. (bcz advertising a single item is like advertising them all. Very few buyers buy only what you advertise on your shop. Or I think none.)
If by unchecking EVERY item (which Ive been doing), I put in my RSS, am I only allowing people on my 'friends' list to view my RSS, plus a few strays who have 'followed' me?Quote:

As I said, Ive just started doing this recently, but something feels wrong...
Im concerned I'm forcing my meagre list of friends to constantly buy my stuff (at full cost - oops, so sorry guys), so....perhaps I need to be more selective if only they can see and buy? But how to know what is and isn't required...same with prices?
Of course no-one has complained about the prices, items or frequency of purchase from me, but then again, they're all too polite Im positive!
Ive stopped selling until I can get an answer on this, so your replies would be greatly appreciated thanks!
