Config: Hay Day v.1.14.82, Android version 4.1.2, Sony Xperia M.
Observations:
My farm was link with a FB account. Then I disconnect from the game menu.
Now whenever I tap on the pig "Add friends" or the FB icon in friend bar or "Sign in with Facebook" button from the menu, nothing happens except the animation of button being pressed. Farm is now lonely without friends :).
Have tried clearing memory cache then reopen the game but still not working. Seems to work with Hay Day v1.14.77 from an earlier download.
The only way I found out is to reinstall the game and link to FB for the first time. It asks me if I want to load the previous game then I can choose LOAD and type CONFIRM.
Your farm connects but your FaceBook friends are not visible. Correct?

Regarding FB friends not visible, if a friend deletes Hay Day app from his Privacy Settings > Apps (on his Facebook account), his farm will not show up in my friend bar. That's my observation, tested.

Did you reboot after clearing all apps from memory? Also try logging into FB first and then connect via HD.
I did not reboot. The OP is really bug reporting for developper team, I found a way to get around this bug. (It's a real pleasure debugging with you :cool:).
I reinstalled the earlier version v1.14.77 and it works fine (I got the APK file for both version). Here's the behaviour from this "earlier" version with the same action (in-game disconnect then tap on facebook icon)
- if already connected in Facebook app: Facebook friends appear right away
- if not connected in Facebook app: Hay Day redirects to Facebook app, after I log in successfully, grant permission, Hay Day automatically opens with Facebook friends (if not, tapping on FB icon make them appear).
Additionnal info: rebooting my phone is working too.

more or less same problem: Hay Day originally on iPad, now on my Samsung S4 the problem is that I try to connect to FB, system tells that there's a farm logged to FB; I digit "CONFERMA" but the farm is at level 1, not level 56.
I see alll my FB friends but I cannot load my farm even if I'm connected to FB

The button gets pressed.... ask permissions... I gave permissions but ntg happen...
In fb the app is showing...

Did you try the step described in the sticky post? (force quit the game).
You could try reboot your device as well.

I assume that you want to load a farm that is already link to a FB account called "FB_ACCOUNT" and you want to transfer the game to an Android device.
Here the steps that work for me every time:
- Uninstall Hay Day from Android device
- Reboot the Android device
- Reinstall Hay Day on Android device from Google Play Store
- Log into Facebook app using FB_ACCOUNT
- Open Hay Day, wait for the tutorial to finish and new farm is load (the one at level 1)
- Click on friend bar then FB icon, icon turns grey.
- Grant permission then Hay Day will open automatically
- If the connexion is established, FB icon disappears from friend bar.

OK I have had the same problem and even emailed supercell, with no response. here is a fix that worked for me. Go to settings>developer options> don't keep activities (destroy every activity as soon as user leaves it) unchecked this box if you have it checked.Quote:

First of all sorry we haven't responded earlier. We are curious to know if you even successfully connected the game to Facebook in the past ?
Here are a few more things to try to get the connection to work.
Make sure you have the latest version of Facebook app installed on your device. Older versions may not work properly with Hay Day! Also, try these steps:
1. Force-stop the Hay Day app by going to Settings > Apps > Hay Day and press 'Force stop'
2. Using the instructions above, force-close the Facebook app (if you're using Facebook in a browser window, please force-stop the browser)
3. Launch Hay Day and try reconnecting your farm to Facebook
You could also try to remove the app from within facebook and try to connect again. Log into facebook, click account settings, apps, and remove the hay-day entry.
If none of these work or you have any further questions, contact our customer support either via in game settings -> Help and Feedback -> Report An Issue so that they can look into it.
If you do manage to make it work we would love to hear what exactly solved the issue.
My problem was temporary and I was able to connect to FB before the bug. Restarting device or reinstall the app made it possible again (the farm start over at level 1 if reinstalled or Clear data).Quote:

I loved Game Center and the fact I didn't have to add all those people as friends on Facebook...I am now on droid and this is my only option. Why can't there be a general way to add neighbors without adding on Facebook as a friend..I do NOT want that many friends on my Facebook. Todays update solved my problem of me not seeing any of my facebook friends.
My problem was that when signed in to facebook IOS users could see me, but I could not see them.
That broke when supercell gave us fridays update. Today is Monday and it's fixed with the newest update.

I can understand the frustration of everyone and so was (Am?) I. But seeing that the team is being responsive, I don't want to give up on them. So far, it seems as if the problem wouldn't likely be fixed in the next update (which I hope comes in as a Christmas gift).
I don't know if I should be creating a new thread, so I am posting my issue here. I play Hay Day in my Nexus 7 (2012) tablet. At the time of installation, it was running Jelly Bean 4.2 and I wasn't able to connect to Facebook. I didn't have facebook app installed when I installed Hay Day first (this is around a month or so - I think I installed Hay Day in Nov 2013).
I am able to connect to Google+ without any problem, but I doubt that it is of any use, at least, thus far.
When I click on the connect facebook button, it'd prompt me for username/password. I'd enter that and it'd load the game back again and there would be no indication that it is connected (I don't know how the screen would look if connected to Facebook). I checked under Settings and the button would say "Sign In With Facebook". When I click this the second time, the icon would kind of flicker and the game hangs up. If I leave it like so, I'd get a prompt saying "Unfortunately, Hay Day has stopped".
I have tried this several times in vain. Then I thought it's because I didn't have the Facebook app installed and so I did. The only difference after I installed is, it wouldn't ask me for credentials as the Facebook app has it.
Then I tried connecting after every maintenance/update hoping that it'd have been resolved but no luck as of yet (like everyone here).
Currently I am running Android 4.4.2 Kitkit, if that helps. I really wish you guys work on this. I know it is difficult, because I am from a technical background and I have had issues where a particular problem that my customer encounters can't be generated again with the same environment that I create i my lab, but sometimes there's a little something that I have overlooked. I hope the development/testing team find that out soon and fix it.
I really like this game and love this team. I don't want to go away, but I am not sure how long I can't keep saying this to myself though.
Open the FB app and find "permissions". Make sure your FB has permissions granted for Hay Day. I'm finding that forgetting to grant permissions is frequently the issue. Hopefully, it will turn out to be the problem for you and several of the other Android users above.Quote:

Hmmm.... you gotta help me there. I don't find permissions inside the app (I hardly use fb in my tab, somehow I never found it easier - strange, I know :D). If you are talking about fb app's permissions (that which you access via the App Info of the app), I don't see any option to add Hay Day there.Quote:
