Hello, I know the new war event brings 4x xp and 4x loot. But being a th11, the war loot at 2x (for victory) itself fills the treasury. Hence, 4x loot wouldn't fit completely, and would be a loss of about half the loot! I would like to question if the treasury limits will be lifted for this event? Thanks

Most probably Treasury storage limits won't matter this time.
If it does then this 4x loot bonus event will be completely pointless.

Same problem here. There is not enough storage capacity for 4x loot.
18k DE do fit into treasury. My first attack already results in 17.7k DE :-)
But no problem, I can't spend it anyway ;-)
Yeah from what I know you will not get the loot. But that's just based of past experience I don't know if it's changed.
I hope Darian or SC mods ll help clarifying it. I've not started war yet due to it.

It will be the same event we have always got.
It will be 4x star bonus, and 2x war bonus for loot and XP.
I think war loot and war win bonus are not same. Because it doesn't make any sense. War loot is the loot you get instantly when you attack in war. (Ex: around 80k gold or eliixir from storages). @SC, Please confirm.Quote:

My friends clan just finished his war and he lost the 4x loot which was was more than treasury capacity.They should allow us to store the loot , else theres no point of providing 4x loot

Honestly, there's no need to false advertise. When my war winnings say 6.2million, we deserve that. Especially during these events, they need to remove the limit. COC must use common sense here.

This is not a new issue - it happens every time there is 2x war bonus.
The only new is that it is now 4x and therefore larger bases are affected too. Usually only th6 and under suffer from this 'problem'.
But - we all get extra - so try being a little happy 😂
My clan is not war enthusiastic during weekdays. We do only weekend war as most of heros ll be on upgrade. If 4x loot & Treasury can hold, I can talk to my clan mates to participate... ;)

They still havent answered this threads question. Will the answer cost them something? Is it unimportant information? Or should we already know the answer? Probably treasury will get maxxed out which mean there is no 4x loot for the winners only for the losers.

The alternative is don’t participate in war and don’t get any loot.
Why people get upset over bonus loot is beyond me...
They are not going to lift storage capacity. 😅

Unfortunately it does not give you extra treasury space but you will still get a ton of extra loot.
I read the storages won't increase. So if you win the war, you'll overflow and not get the extra... but if you lose the war, you'll still benefit from the 4x?

I did not want to say anything negative about this event as I understand a lot of planning and execution goes around the stuff that SC introduces, but I don't understand why would we get offered something that, in reallity, we cannot get?
I see that my 2 war targets will provide me with 2x3.2m resources and 2x ~18k DE.
However, due to the clan castle limit, I will be able to take around half of the resources, so I am wondering why introduce this in the first place.
It's like getting $1k bonus at work, but be given only $550 (lets not involve tax here, just trying to make a point).

Imo they had this 4x loot to allow even war losers to get enough loot.

So this seems like a win-win for everyone:)

I got to agree guys 4x clan war loot is great for all. But 4 X clan loot is pretty pointless without increase in treasury cap. It is what it is now and doubt it can be fixed at this time. But supercell can you at least look at fixing this for next. Darian can you fix when you get 5 minutes :)
Will any of the TH CC levels be able to cope with the additional war loot? or will every level be capped?
None of my TH's lvls (th7-11) can fit the 4x loot, even just attacking the same th lvl.
Silly idea unless amount is lifted for the 4x special.
There is currently a special offer in my shop: 140000 DE and a book of heroes for €21.99. I have bought these special offers before and I know what happens when I get them. In this case, I will receive the full 140000 DE and, if my total DE exceeds the 200000 I am able to hold, I will still get it and exceed my capacity. For example, if I currently have 180000 DE and decide to buy the offer, my DE will show as 320000.
The situation with the CC and the war loot should be similar. We should be able to get the full loot and exceed the capacity of the CC. Assuming the capacity of the CC cannot be exceeded, the event effectively means that winners get their CC completely filled (but certainly less than 4x the loot), while losers get 4/3 of the loot winners normally get. However, this is not what Supercell advertises! They clearly promise 4x the loot, for winners and losers alike!
I have a better idea: let's have an event in the future where both winners and losers get their CC completely filled, and let's advertise it as an 1000x war loot bonus event. Or even 10,000x, and why not 1,000,000x ... It does not matter. They are all equally misleading.

Supercell, please get rid of treasury storage limits for this just like is done with special offers
It isn't, you will get in your CC the max you can hold, no more.
