War event treasury discussion

To lynnk2015, personally I think every company should be practicing CSR. The rub comes into exactly what that is for different people or corporations even. Get any 2 of us together and we are likely to have differing opinions and attitudes. Ofc, I think that is a strength of this forum, the differences. So, I may say SC SHOULD be practicing CSR and you may say they ARE. It's all okay.

As to paraphrasing support's answers, idk, there are definitely unwritten and undefined rules that get enforced (hence my opinion of elitism) willy nilly based on the personal moment of the particular enforcer. It may something they are sensitive to so you have no hope or they may have a bad day and we bear the brunt of it. Then again, they may be having a spectacular day and we reap the benefits of that. That's what happens when decisions made in darkness and secrecy are not allowed to have any public light on them. Absolute power= absolute corruption (in many if not most cases).

So what is unreasonable? People expecting a corporation to honor what IT wrote? What about expecting a corporation to acknowledge a mistake and say sorry? Many states are now passing legislation to allow doctors to say sorry without admitting guilt and all studies show that is what most people really want. It is amazing how many lawsuits and hard feelings are taken care of by simple communication.

Again, I have zero issue with the 4x loot offer not being what it was advertised as. But I am not everyone and I do think an official acknowldegment of an error would have gone a long way to shutting this thread down.

Given that having absolute power will corrupt eventually those who wield it, IMHO, I hope the Mod Squad have a system of checks-and-balance in place so that power won't be abused or be tempted to abuse power.

People don’t display outrage and dismay for no reason and here there was probably good reason.

As for searching for an explanation, unfortunately Darians response does not immediately leap out and I’m not sure there is one in this particular thread.

The mods try to reply but as they keep saying they are not spokespeople for SC and are independent so their responses are just their opinions which have as much weight as much as anyone else’s here (or so we are led to believe)

C'mon stop the thread. It's 62 pages long thread of disagreement that includes Guinness World Records number of analogies used. Both sides unlikely agree on each other's views even it adds some more pages.

This year event is almost ended (when every wars started during event ended), things won't change. Next year we will probably have more interesting discussion for maybe 5X war loot bonus during 5th clan war anniversary, so save it for next year.

So because some people won't take the time to look for it Darian shouldn't respond at all?

Honesty it's a bit rediculous that the guy who's supposed to talk to the community has completely ignored this thread. The fact that it has over 600 post and is constantly on the first page and he still hasn't responded to it shows me that he's actively avoiding it.

When there's no real answer he can give other than a lame "Woops, yes, you're all right that was a gross oversight about CC limits on our part. Apologies all." Which would just lead to people heaping more scorn on SC. I imagine Darians strategy here is rather silence on the topic, no response is still a response. Rather let people speculate as to what happened with the CC limits 'fiasco' than tell everyone they messed up and only invite more negativity and scorn. This strategy has been used a few times before with controversial threads. And sometimes he'll manage to drag an answer out of SC and then gives it to us. Don't blame him for using this "no response is a response" thing, it really works.

War bonus event is over.
No response from SC, next event will start shortly.
People will forget this and move on to next event.

This is what has been happening since loooooong time. People request something, and then SC distracts them with something else( an update, silence to create speculation, hints to hype). People get busy about that, and then they find another request about fix.
This is how, clouds were never fixed, matchmaking were never fixed.
Because, people find happiness in whatever SC throws at them in other words, they are so addicted, that they try to enjoy, even when they don't actually enjoy.

I didn't get 4X bonus, only a little over 2X. If they can waive the limits for the book of heroes event and for purchases, why can't they do it for their 4th anniversary event? It was a disappointment to say the least.
