Clearly, I missed it as well. I hinted at it, but the more I read the more I realize it was intentional. Well played...

Mods: Please don't merge this into the sticky thread. I looked through about 20 pages in that thread and couldn't find an answer.
Question: We have this nice clan war anniversary deal going on where you get 4x war loot for winning a war. Nice! 6mm loot or so. Except our treasuries can only hold 3.6mm or so, depending on your clan's war level. The rest is lost to the CoC gods.
So what exactly is the point of this promotion? This is a serious question -- I've been around a long time with this game, but this action from SC baffles me.
Maybe is just the way the game was meant to be played:confused: </s>
Oops. Found a thread in bugs too: https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...war-loot-bonus
It also gives 4x clan XP. Decent amount of loot is lost but also helps new clans grow faster. That’s about all I can think of.
the losers get 4x loot as well which all fits in their treasury. It seems like an oversight on their part but maybe the event design team didn't ask the programmers how easy it was to remove the limits on the treasury storage and just assumed it could be done like on regular storages.
Or maybe they just forgot :)
My thought is to encourage more clans to war. Even if you lose (30% loot) with the 4x bonus you're still getting a good amount of loot. It's a good way to get more people warring for the 4th Clan Ware Anniversary.
Why are we still talking about this? If you win your war, you won't get the 4x loot. Case closed. All you can do is clear your treasury before you get the loot, and be happy that it will fill up completely after the war ends.
