Definition of a good raid for farmer
All the loot chains got me thinking what do we actually consider a good raid or a great raid lootwise? Without lootbonus/penalty the maximum loot that we can get is 198K from storages and 450K from maxed mines/collectors. Th10 with their extra mine and collector add to this another 75K each. For the mines/collectors to be full they need 50 hours of uninterrupted work time. Most likely the base would be hit before this as those mines/collectors are a tempting target long before they are even half full.
As a th8 I do not pay any attention to elixir as that takes care of itself quite nicely anyway. The situation where the target would have both storages over a million and full mines/collectors is quite rare so a realistic measuring stick might be just mines/collectors. This gives me a gold maximum of 450K or 525K before loot bonus/penalty.
When farming I use 80 barbs+80 archers and 40 goblins. With this combo I do not raid anything under 100K gold and depending on wall levels go or skip the base if most of the loot is in storages. Great raid is anything where I can take away 200K gold. Bigger raids of 300K+ are a jackpot of maybe 1/300, while 400K+ raids can be counted easily with one hand. Normally can find raidable base with in 10-15 click of next.
Usually end using the whole raiding party as want to penetrate the base also to get loot from collectors. With quicker raids being a nice bonus sometimes. Perhaps could be more conservative with troop usage.
Th8 my definitions:
Normal raid: 100K+
Good raid: 150K+
Great raid: 200K+
Rare raid: 300K+
Record raid: 400K+
