What is YOUR personal favorite army to use in Clash of Clans?
80 barbs
104 archers
8 WB
king (optional)
lightning, heal, rage/heal (all optional)
The army I have the most fun deploying is BAG. I added a few minions when I reached 220 camp size.
But at higher level, it is not fun anymore since defense are just too strong. The stronger armies are just too long to train to have real fun with them.

I love to switch between BAM and mass drags (with minions).
That might change now that I got lvl 6 giants cooking
I personally really like the giant healer strategy I use
1 Healer
12 Giants
10 Wall breakers
45 Archers
61 Goblins
It works fine for me

I always win raids with giant healer.
For gold farming- BAM
For DE farming- Giants, Gobs, Archers, Barbs, Wall Breakers, and a couple Hog Riders.
For trophy pushing- Balloonion
BAM. Everything else is just so slow to train to make it any good for gold farming.
So what do all the abbreviations stand for???
Im actually surprised by how few people use the BAG eM strategy for gold farming.

GoWiPe has always been my favourite, or below TH8 Giants instead of Golem(s). It's not cheap, or reliable, but when used well there's nothing quite like smashing the insides of a base much tougher than your own. Once I get level 2 witches, it will be GoWiWi.
That said, Balloonian is the army I use the most... pretty fun, much easier and reliable to use, and cost effective anywhere from say 2000-2700.
