galaxy note 3 Google plus sign in

I have been playing CoC a long time on my iPhone. I recently got a droid galaxy note 3 and while I have no trouble getting the link code on my old iphone, I can't sign in to Google plus on my new device. I have even deleted the game and reinstalled following all the outlined steps to link devices but it still just won't let my sign in to G+... I click on the sign in button and my account comes up and I click on sign in and a blue circle spins and nothing happens. That happens from both the sign in screen and the link screen. Am I doing something wrong? Please help! I sent my first email to Supercell over a week ago and heard nothing so I just emailed again and signed up here for much needed aassistance. Thanks
