TH9 bummer

There I was, as happy as a well fed baby. TH8 maxed out and ready to join THE darkside of this game.
While the clock was ticking down, i looted 6mil each ( max resources) to start upgrading defences and troops once th9 was a fact. Man, was that a cold shower.

With th9 the speed is completely taken out of this game; i can understand why players are getting bored with it.
Once i started my lab upgrade and all new defences the loot was gone. It took me à couple of days to get necessary elix for my first troop upgrade.
Untill th8 i kept reminding members to keep the convo in clanchat going, i couldnt imagine members sayin they were bored.
I couldnt be more wrong ( now it seems).

My troops r immature so i cant win with 3 stars ( those sayin to drop trophs to take easy bases; srry guys thats not my thing ;)). So if i get happy when i see bases with 250k + loot, my excitement get less after the attc.

TH9 is a bummer, if i could go back i would ;)

Yeah it's pretty bad at the start of TH9 but in a few weeks when you have level 6 tier 1 troops and giants it gets better.

If you are not willing to optimize your gold-per-hour (attacking easy bases; which is "not your thing"), can't really complain about loot. It's like a talented athlete complaining the pro's are to hard, but won't put in the time to hone their skill's. TH9 is big wake-up-call, at that point you really have to start using every advantage you have. It's doable though; it's a bit of a slap in the face, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that you can do it :).

What Solace said. Just in the same way you can't complain that it's too hard to make elixir if you use 11 drags and 4 spells every raid, you can't complain about loot being too difficult to aquire by your style of play. Everyone may play this game the way they wish, but complaining about the game in general because your own favourite gamestyle doesn't cut it is not, in my opinion, justifyable.
With that out of the way, I know the troubles of early TH9, I had to make quite a few adjustments to my game play as well, and the first weeks in particular were tough. I never struggled with elixir though, it was always gold - but once you start getting your key troops to level 6, it gets easier. Just don't expect to be able to play the game the same way as you did on TH8, you will need to adapt if you're not prepared to keep struggling.

You either adapt or you whine about it and quit...

It gets tons easier once you get the essential upgrades out of the way, I'm constantly overflowing elix and gold is easy to come by at the right trophy range with the right army

@ all thinkin this is a complain, Im so sorry u read it that way because it isnt.

Im only pointing out that THE speed is out of THE game. Dont use the reply to message button to boost up ur number of post.

Oh, you were simply stating that the upgrade times are longer? Well, I'm in with you on that one, for sure. By the wording of your original post, it was not hard to mistake your real point for an overall whine about problems with loot (and ergo speed of progress) due to playstyle:

Anyway, one upside with the longer ug times is that you usually have more than enough time to refill your storages inbetween upgrades, as long as you plan ahead a bit and try to stagger the upgrades so they don't all finish at once. If you wish to get resources while 3-starring, I'd advice you to either go for balloonions or hogs, although they are costly either in elixir or DE, respectively.. With that, I welcome you to the dark side, try to adapt and have fun with it ;)
