I still see the seasonal fish jumping around. Are we still able to catch them to fill in our book? I'm out of non-red lures and low on vouchers to try.
How long is the "season" ? I thought it ended with the event. Anyone know?

Odd. We were told these fish were specifically for the special events only. I guess this is like the ghost hanging about after it's deadline. Go for it and good luck!
I've used over 20 lures, mostly blue and purple, since the event started and only caught one of the new fish. It's a joke.
No joke, you just have to be a little crafty. I can't remember which thread it was but if you are using a voucher lure, look for a very small center circle with very slow moving outer white circle. The fish is very active and it takes a lot of patience to "land" it. When you put the lure in and don't get that really small circle, just let go. Your lure will be back in your tackle box and you can try again. Sometimes it took me half dozen tries before I'd get a chance at them. Lost quite a few in the fight too. They are not easy like the others.
hope this helps. :cool::cool:
Cricks may be (and most likely) is correct. I don't want anyone to waste their vouchers or lures on my previous post which is now, almost a day old. They may be jumping, but no longer into my boat. I haven't caught one in many hours....so use discretion with those prized vouchers! :rolleyes:
Used to be pretty easy during the event. Almost all small circles yielded me the new fishes. Not anymore. Now I keep getting rudd or striped bass for the small circles so I can safely conclude that the event fishes are no more. Guess they cleaned up the remnants during the maintenance break yesterday.
And this is the conclusion I came to as well. The maintenance took them away. I no longer see them jumping anymore either.
Good to know. I have still been trying to catch those boogers. Doh dee doh....:p
