We want a diamond confirmation button

Nick said they tried adding confirmations to all HD speedups but felt it hampered the flow of the game too much. I assume they are using a large confirmation box like the one that appears when you go to speed up a mastery. If so I would forget that.

All the other speed ups have a little yellow button with a diamond and the number required on it. Some also have a lightning bolt. Right now if you click either of them the transaction goes straight through. Instead, have it so when you tap on the button (or lightning bolt) it changes to a "confirm" button around the same size. The transaction goes through only AFTER you tap on confirm. If you change your mind you simply close the screen like you do now and return to your game. Next time you open the screen you see the diamond button again.

Game flow will not be affected as you won't have a dialogue box appearing that takes over the game until you close it.

People who do want the speed up will not be inconvenienced, but accidental diamond use will be slashed because few people will accidently tap two buttons.

Please let me know if you like this idea and I will follow up on it with Supercell.

Great observation and adaptation. I think this would be a great alternative to a corpnfirmation pop-up window that would ruin the game flow. I've been thinking about double clicking but this is way better. Having a little green rectangle asking "are you sure?" in the same side and style as the "visit!" icon on the leaderboard to would be very tasteful way of solving our accidental usage of speed ups. People who accidentally clicked can just resume to the game normally and people who wants to speed up only have to press the green icon. I'm so tired of spending my diamonds on speeding things I don't even know about. I just maxed out queues for a few more machines that didn't need it because I was just too fed up with my diamond pile getting smaller after each time playing.

I think the double tap solution is ideal. People already have to double click icons and folders to open them on their computers, and there aren't too many individuals claiming that this is annoying or arduous to accomplish. It is not as though one must visually observe the confirmation before clicking again; those making an intentional purchase could easily double tap without waiting for anything to appear (similar to the visit option on the leaderboard).

The developers could even add a settings option that would adjust the threshold at which a double tap would be required, so those players frequently making small diamond purchases could do so more easily (though I'm sure over 99% of those people wouldn't mind double tapping). The scarecrow could inform players of the change to avoid confusing anyone. The claim that 'game flow' issues are preventing the implementation of this feature is very vexing. Even if that consideration is legitimate, it seems clear that pecuniary concerns are at the heart of the decision to withhold a change in purchasing mechanics.

A great big yes for me! I keep wasting them on speeding up one or more wheat fields. Took me a while to figure out where they were all going. Now I have to be super careful, and I still manage to waste them LOL!
