We want a diamond confirmation button

Ok, just to put my 2 cents in yet again. I understand losing hard earned diamonds without valid reason is frustrating. I've lost plenty myself and it's very aggravating to say the least.

However, only those who've purchased diamonds with real money are owed any kind of reimbursement. For the rest of us, we need to work with SC on fixing the issues and not demand diamond refunds, legal action, or boycotts when the only thing we have been "robbed" of is our time.

It would, of course, be lovely if SC would reimburse all of us each time we lose diamonds. Especially considering that the last update has created new loss issues and increased existing ones. But they can't realistically do that...the massive influx of requests would be impossible to fulfill. One day's worth of requests would take a week to fill. As it is, demands such as this swamp and bog down their email and keep them from spending much needed time on issues that are more serious and effect a greater number of players in a more negative way.

If you've paid for lost diamonds with real money, than do the best you can to collect data to send to SC so they can investigate the issue. Do your best to provide screenshots, detailed chronologies of what happened, and anything else you can think of to prove it happened due to a problem with the game.

For those of us who've not paid real money, the only thing we have the right to is either keep playing and curse when it happens, place a review in the App Store, or find another game to play that doesn't involve any gaming items to lose.

Remember that they always give us a few diamonds as compensation whenever the servers go out and even gave us all diamonds to offset the issue with the new Mystery Nets. They don't have to do that, so they ARE showing consideration.

EDIT: This post may seem a bit overboard, but it was written in response to an earlier post that has been removed and was rather...aggressive in it's content.

Have you reported this to anyone? If not supercell, then please send me a screen pic. Supercell will never tolerate inappropriate farm names, but there are always ways to bypass the profanity filter, so please send me a picture of this as soon as possible.

This is pretty hard to do when the speed up button is right on top of the action a player is trying to do. And it really "ruins the flow of the game" by continually trying to move around that button.

How about commenting on the size increase of the newspaper speed up? Its caused way too many accidental lost diamonds since being increased.

When is the testing for the confirmation button going to be finished? Everyone is waiting!

Sorry Nick, how can it possibly ruin the flow when I am warned before wasting diamonds on speeding eggs or wheat? Or any other way to spend diamonds? We indeed do not need confirmation for every single action, just for spending real money!

Suggestion: let your team buy diamonds from their salaries and then ask them again about flow....

One thought just crossed my mind: Are you sure that your team consists of fast players, following the same gaming style and goals as the typical player?

I have been very, very, very careful doing everything with the game and still have lost lots of diamonds unintentionally. I wish you could sit with a few of us and see just how easy it is to loose diamonds. I think you should give users an opt in to using a confirm function so the user can make the decision about what they would rather have: a confirm function or better game flow. This way it can work best for all based on their own preferences.

The newspaper ad speed up button has not changed to my knowledge. I just verified it myself, and it works normally. However, we are still investigating this, but so far it seems to be working as normal. Have you tried to delete Hay Day from your device and re-install it and see if there's any difference?

The test we are conducting can take a while, and there's no certainty if we roll it out or if we will have to revert and go back to the drawing board to design a new approach. That's why we test things - to see if they work or not.

Popups are considered as an annoying thing in games, unless the game is designed to pop up with loads of popups asking you for various things (sharing etc.). Becomes tedious and really unpleasant in the long run. The less popups you have in a game, the better the flow is. Anyway, like I said - we will look into this but I can't make any promises.

Regarding your suggestion, we (employees) actually buy our gems & diamonds. :)

I would love to buy diamonds to keep on hand for when I need them but can't the way it's set up now. They disappear and I have no idea where some of them even go. I buy eggs now if I get mystery box with diamonds until I can use them because I've lost so many feeding chickens!

SC your diamonds sales would improve with this addition because so many of us are tired of losing them. I also lost a big chuck of them, contacted SC about it and received an email asking for more information. I had already sent them everything in my email so didn't have anything else to add. Lost about 50-55 and have no clue what happened. All machines slots were fully opened where I was working.

Confirmation button please!

I think they are making good money on all our "accidental" use of diamonds. I say we have a mass day/week where no one plays Hay Day. Or everyone threaten to quit if they don't give us the " do you really want to use these diamonds" that every other game has for something worth money or nobody spend money on diamonds anymore.
