Visitor event: Saws & Axes

Okay, I’ve been playing Hay Day now for about 5 years. The visitors asking for saws and axes have always annoyed me, but today I say enough is enough! Lol.

The visitors don’t ask for our expansion tools, so why do they ask for these? I can say with utmost certainty that we farmers are NOT interested in ever selling our saws or axes to the visitors. It’s not even a good deal. I’ve accidentally sold large amounts to them before, and it is just not necessary. I work hard to collect those tools and yeah, they are usually the highest in my barn—making them easy prey. I usually ignore them, but during the double coin visitor event, they are hard to ignore if you want to make coins. Happy farming all! That’s my rant for the day.

When I was compiling the second edition of known issues and bugs, I secretly slipped this one on the list. I hope we hear back soon on the submitted issues;)

It is very annoying. I feel like in the past they were asked for less frequently. I've seen a mod comment on why they don't change it, but I can't remember where I saw it exactly.

*Stealing* our axes & saws is not a legitimate way to achieve balance in the game.

I couldn't agree more....there has never been a time that I wanted to sell axes or saws to visitors, but plenty of times I accidently did.

LOL, I enjoyed reading your rant. I wish there was a fourth choice for me when these visitors ask for axes and saws: Return to the Gates of Hell from whence came you!

But seriously, I trained myself not to tap the "No, sorry" button because it's much too close to the "Yes, here you go" button. So I tap on the lower right corner of my device instead. :)

P.S. I rarely use "whence" in my writing so I'm hoping I've used it correctly.

Ya it cracks me up how Organic food is in style and they are willing to pay a premium price for these extra tasty local products only to want your axes and saws. I don’t need any gold now and since getting the achievement I just let them stand there forever. Before when I did run them however, I did occasionally sell them by accident.

My dudes, I want to sell you some of my 125 rustic bouquets, so please stop asking for my axes. YOU'RE NEVER GONNA GET 'EM! (Until I inevitably accidentally tap the 'oh sure here you go' button at some point)

I like your use of whence here. You made me laugh! I’m careful as well, but still, it’s such an annoyance. Eye-twitching! Ha

On a more serious note I can understand your pain as I also experience this. That said I also know how to fix it for myself as a player but I'm not willing to fix it so I too have to suffer through.

Axes, Saws and mining equipment are in somewhat of a different category. Yes they're tools we always need however these tools can be asked for by visitors and Tom can fetch them which isn't possible with any other tools.

I do wish they would switch the no button and the wait a moment button. Yes and no are too close and I too have accidentally hit the wrong one by mistake.
