Are Clan games happening too often????

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't the Personal Break timer introduced for this? I never quite understood why SC did not make the PBT just shorter for Legend League and the time to wait before being able to log in again longer. Also, shields should probably removed.
After all that, SC would be able to see in their logs which people are using pilots. I mean if a person is online for the maximum time before BPT kicks in and then logs in again after the wait period and again is online for the maximum PBT time.... that's a clear indication.


Edit: and to add to the original discussion: why o why does no one just use the option not to play. Why do you need SC for your clan management problem? Do not cut in MY playing of Clan Games if YOU do not want to do them. Not doing them is an option after all. No one is forcing you to play the games. SC could make the rewards less "FOMO" like.

That's not true at all Ajax. Having a game start 2 days later and lasting 2 days less total for the same points isn't less frequent- it's just more of a hassle.

Anywyas supercell said we'd get them less frequently and that isn't what happened at all.

Ehm, not sure if it the frequency is the same or less or more. Anyway, isn't Supercell allowed to change their minds? They might have seen that clan games is good for activity (which we know it is) and maybe also for gem spending. They could as well have concluded that less frequent was a goal, but seeing the success thought that it would be better to have the clan games more often.

That's how you lose trust from your customers. But sure they can do whatever they want. It's obviously going to upset some people though and rightfully so.

They also don't probably realize how many people are doing these games and getting upset about it because they're using numbers- they're not even sticking to what theyre saying so far. Their PR doesn't even have anything to do with what they end up doing so they don't seem to care.

No matter what they do it will upset some people.

They will more often choose the option that they think will please the larger number of players because that is good for the game. Obviously that isn't always true, there are times they do what they feel is necessary for the future even though they know it will be exceedingly unpopular - removing TH sniping was the prime example of that (and of course they were right, in spite of all the complaints)

The personal break does require a defense 4 hours after the shield runs out, but there still is a huge advantage if an account is being shared and played 24 hours per day all season long. If they reduce the possible log-in time to 16 hours per day, there still would be an advantage for those who can search 16 hours compared to others searching 10, but not so big as it is now.

He thinks Its not correct what Darian said regarding the usage of the word "less frequent", he then gave an example of shorter duration games happening less often as not being less frequent. For one I am not sure that example has relevance to Darians usage of the word, and even If it is a good example, it depends of your unit of analysis to determine If frequency could be relevant. If the unit is clans games from begining to end, then they are not less frequent (in his example), but If your unit it clan games days per days month, then the games in his example have a lower frequency. Again though I dont think he picked a good example to show why Darian used the word incorrectly.

Have we been forced to debate the usage of the word frequency? or will we debate the usage of the word forced more frequenctly, or will we debate the meaning of frequently more forcefully?

Ah, now I see where you are coming from. It isn't too much. It's not enough. I would like to see clan games go non-stop. But there are a lot of people that want them to be even less than they are now. Much easier to make everyone happy if each clan has their own games on their own schedules.

I've never been in anything but non-stop war clans, yet I know there are countless clans that war once a week and don't want to do it more frequently than that. That is perfectly fine because their slow schedule does not impact me. Making us all play clan games on the same schedule is helping no one.
