It isn't selfish for players to state their opinions, even if they are contrary to your own. For me, personally, I think the games have been too frequent lately. Everyone is indeed entitled to voice their opinion. My comment mirrored the comment directly above it in response to his statements that
A. “No one is complaining.”
B. “don’t take part” is a lazy argument and
C. he has uncontrollable compulsion to participate in support of his clan.

I thought I made some fair assertions in response to his.

In general I think the game data will decide frequency of clan games until supercell reaches the desired result and turns off the tap. All arguments likely moot.

But take it for what it's worth, if the Clan Games maximum tier were to increase to 100K points (double from current Clan Games), maybe your clan members will feel the burnt out.

It's funny to think that all players are doing 5 multiplayer raids in an hour. That's not normal and is a challenge for most of the players (not all, but most). For most players, doing challenge means doing something out of ordinary, and that's why the burnt out.

I agree, some players might find the challenges too easy and it's what they normally do. So there is never really a challenge at all. So continue with normal activities, and get all the rewards at the end. It's never the same for smallers clans members and casual players.

so now i see why you are bunt out
you have a small half active clan
even if the games will be rare , your clan will not complete all the tiers and finish exhausted and burnt out

this last clan games event we are doing without pressure, unpopular tasks are trashed, we do those that go along with our normal game play. in the end if we complete 5 or 6 tiers we will be satisfied, i don't whip my members, we are always in war, so we do what we can, but if there are the clans who want the games often, i don't mind.

Burning out on ANYTHING in life is a you problem. If you watch too many movies do you blame the tv?

The point of the argument is whether you are burning out because you have NO CHOICE or whether it is from your own CHOICE. You think you have no choice in the matter whereas I believe you have the power to choose. The power of choice is not dependent on a opt in/opt out button.

I am in a small casual clan and we aren't burning out so it is not the small casualness of your clan that is burning you out. It is your CHOICE of aiming for high tier rewards GAME AFTER GAME that is burning you out.

Saying that you have the choice to set goals for clan games is in no way disrespectful, selfish, illogical or shortminded.

Ok. Sort of similar although not exact. Wars are always there. You can push the button or not. Clan games are there. More often than not right now. You can choose, as a clan whether by leadership statement or general agreement in chat, to not do a game. Or aim for a lower tier. To flip your final sentence, it is selfish to not allow active, large clans to have the opportunity to do the games because smaller clans can't keep up. Regardless of whether that are active, you do not have to do them. You have a choice. In your shoes, as a part of my clan leadership, I would say this games we're not pushing. Do what you can in your normal play. Anything we win is bonus. If you allow the games to stress you, that is on you.

Frequent clan games help small clans too. If there is just 1 game you have to work hard to get all tiers. But if there are 2 you get half the points in each of those and receive the same rewards. So frequent clan games has reduced the burnout for you keeping the rewards same. This is rational thinking but most people fail to understand it. Bigger clans profit more but smaller clans also get profit.

Nobody said frequent clan games did not help smaller clans.
The point is about frequent clan games causing smaller clans members to feel burn out.

There is a vast difference between casual and competitive. Players could be casual and stay competitive.
In my clan, we are NEVER aiming for 50K total points, because that is unachievable. So all we could do is aim for 30K tier rewards. We are mostly casual but of course we want to stay competitive as possible.

For you small clans to aim lower than 30K tier rewards, that will be not competitive clan. Casual, yes you are. But your clan is definitely not competitive if your clan is not aiming as high as possible.
