Are Clan games happening too often????

You are very lucky to have a clan that stayed together for 5 years. It seems that you have something special there where no clan wars/clan games will tear you guys apart. This is where leadership takes over in setting expectations on clan game rewards as a clan. It seems that leaders need to define what's a comfortable level of participation on clan game.

Clan games won't tear us apart, they will just be less fun if they are all the time than they would be if they were less frequent. I don't know what it would do for other clans, but I know my own clan would like them more if they added some challenges specifically for trophy pushers. As I said in another thread, big rewards for something like 2 wins in legends for a th11, 2 wins in titans for a th10, etc. would help.

A lot of the arguments are "don't like Clan Games then don't take part".

Clan Games is a clan thing, so there is never really a simple and easy solution as "don't take part". Because your Clan will need you to get every points to reach the highest tier rewards. So Clan Games is not individually optional thing.

Rather, Clan Games is Clan optional thing. If you tell me a Clan can just decide to not take part in Clan Games, I will accept it, provided the Clan Leaders and Co Leaders agree with it.

But it is an individual optional thing. I dont even see why this thread is even an issue whatsoever. Play the game as u normally would, complete challenges that u would do anyway in normal farming. Let the chips fall as they may. If my clan has an issue with this im movin on. Just relax guys, you cant have it all. Some may love the frequency some may not. Just dont ruin a wonderful oppurtinity because YOU are burnt out.

That is where it is a clan management issue. If a leader sees people getting burnt out, it's time to say we're skipping this one or only going for tier x. Obviously, the frequency preference varies greatly depending on your clan. In mine, we don't have to focus on the games and easily hit max doing what we do. That's a heck of a lot easier when you have 40+ participating than smaller clans. I wouldn't mind them being a bit less frequent but it's really helping my progress as a new th10. It also encourages me to play more as I need more resources to keep up. Right now that's a good thing. In a month, I might be singing a different tune.

It is both a player option and a clan option. Some clans require warring back to back and using 2 attacks each war. If a player doesn't like that he/she can opt out of wars or leave the clan. For people who opt out of wars, it doesn't matter if the

Clan will need that player to have enough people to war or to have enough higher TH attacks to cover low TH fails.

Clan games work in a similar way.

There is no compelling reason why a clan would HAVE to reach the highest tier rewards each and every game. The extra bonuses are nice but not essential. You clearly feel the extra bonuses aren't essential because you would like to see less frequent wars (less bonuses gained over time).

I like the frequency and everything about the clan games. Back to back 50k is a lot of work, but not gonna complain. If any smaller clans out there struggling to hit those rewards looking for a team up when these big games come up. Hit me up. We could use a handle full of go getters to make it easier. We hit 47k and ran out of steam at the end. A hand full of guys would make it easier

There is a vast difference between Clan Games and Clan War in this regards. For instance, in Clan War players can choose to opt in or opt out. The Clan War will not require any individual who choose opt out to attack, because they were never really required to attack.

However, in Clan Games, players don't have the freedom to choose opt in or opt out. Regardless of how you have no time to participate in Clan Games, or whether you are tired of the challenges thinking it is like chore, you cannot choose not to participate. Because of your inparticipation, your Clan might not reach the highest tier rewards. So Clan Games is not individually optional and the system is not the same as Clan War too.

I am in a Clan where active players are around 10 and semi-active around 10. In the last games, we only get 42K points. Which is not bad considering the number of players we have. However, we still thinking frequent Clan Games will not do any good because 10 of us have to keep doing the heavy liftings and another 10 raiding more than they normally do. Starting to burning us out. That's why this thread is really saying burnt out effect will be felt by smaller Clans.

So perhaps staying in a Clan with 40 active members make you fail to feel it. It's uncomparable.
But take it for what it's worth, if the Clan Games maximum tier were to increase to 100K points (double from current Clan Games), maybe your clan members will feel the burnt out.

It's funny to think that all players are doing 5 multiplayer raids in an hour. That's not normal and is a challenge for most of the players (not all, but most). For most players, doing challenge means doing something out of ordinary, and that's why the burnt out.

I agree, some players might find the challenges too easy and it's what they normally do. So there is never really a challenge at all. So continue with normal activities, and get all the rewards at the end. It's never the same for smallers clans members and casual players.

I did note that it was a lot easier with a large active clan. Doesn't make your pov or my pov any less valid. Just different based on our circumstances. The conundrum for supercel is how do you make players with both valid viewpoints happy.

Your last point. I get the view that small clans and casual players should be able to participate in clan games with a reasonable degree of success. However. The casual player (however that is defined), can't advance as fast as the very active player in regular play due to lower resource gain. Smaller clans can't gain points as quickly. Why should clan games offer the same rewards to small clans and casuals? There should be an advantage to recruiting a large clan of active players just as there should be an advantage to being someone who can get in 5 attacks in an hour. I'm not saying abandon your smaller clan. I'm saying you should manage your clan expectations based on your clans needs and capability.

Of course you can choose not to participate. Why does your clan have to reach the highest tier rewards? Why do you have to get 42K last game when the best stuff could be obtained at 30K. Your own choice is what is burning you out, not the clan games.
