All of the complaint threads about more free stuff blows my mind. I do think the power potions make engineering more of a problem. But at this point, SC has proven they have no desire to fix engineering in mm, so whatever.

I know right? Between last games, the hog event and this clan games The books have given me 12,439 gems with books still left. I’ll have gotten max archers, barbs and lighting spell done instantly. At 14 days each that’s a month and half of lab.
I moved my TH9s to th10 so I could use book of buildings to speed up the start and make farming easier. It’s been fantastic. I mean it’s easily been Close to 200 bucks of free gems since clan games have started.
I’m sorry if people don’t like it but I’ll take it cause I know they won’t keep this frequency up forever I’d personally wait a little longer for clouds than weeks for lab.
The thing is, I need th11 newcomers (even better if rushed/.5) to farm when th12 is released. Since people spent so much time on th9, I would like to see some people greatly speeding up their pace. Th12 economy/"food chain" will need them. And I like free gems.
I just never understand this kinda of complaining, if you do not like it, do not take part.... some clans and people like it, the activity in my clan the last 2 weeks has been bumping, the games brings out everyone to play and chat, I wish there was never a break
No one is complaining. They are just stating what they are observing in their clans. No one is ungrateful for rewards. Some are just unable to commit the time requirements of clan games. To simply say "don't take part" is first, lazy because you aren't reading or refusing to read the reasoning behind the requests for longer time between games, and second it exacerbates the problem as there are some (like myself) that feel compelled to participate in the games to support the clan.
In fact, many are complaining. That is just what I have observed on the forum. To simply say reduce the frequency is first, selfish because you are not considering the seeming majority who wants to consume these rewards as fast as they can be fed to us, and second is shortsighted because they will not feed us these rewards in such volumes indefinitely.
What you are saying is essentially, make everyone slow down so I can keep up with the pack. Take away from others because I'm uncomfortable with the pace. Nobody is being lazy in their reading. I think everyone gets the point, it is too fast for some. Tough!
I see two frequent complaints and two frequent responses.
Complaint number one.
Clan games are too frequent.
Response.
Just don't play. There is no penalty for not playing. Simple.
Complaint number two.
Some guy in our clan didn't try hard enough in clan games.
Response.
Kick his no-good, worthless, low-down behind to the curb. Simple.
I have tried to resolve the contradiction between these two responses and find them anything but simple.
In fact, like most "simple" solutions I find them simply wrong.
it's all in your head. not taking part isnt lazy. feeling compelled to participate? clearly mental issues.
You guys arent playing with kids. We do understand if some dont participate. It's fine if most the clan is lazy and dont do tasks. We know when to press the leave button if we arent happy with the situation.
these issues can actually be solved on your own. there is no need to reduce the frequency of clan games for some weird thinking. try not to be selfish and deal with it so that others can progress quicker.
The first response translates to: "find a clan that is ok with you opting out of clan games." The second response translates to: "run your clan how you want." I don't think it's hard to reconcile the two answers at all, not sure why some players see them as mutually exclusive.
