I really hate trying to catch the bigger fish... sometimes they get off the line. During global events, if I'm using vouchers for bait, I can easily spend 15 to 20 minutes fishing because of it.
i'm not fond of the layout of the fishing spots. Kinda wished they put it in a nice boring 3x4 grid instead. Also, don't like the "context change" of town and fishing, have to wait quite a bit for reloads when returning to the farm. i wished there was a way to "quick check" on the fishing ground status without leaving the farm - ie if the nets/lures are ready, which spots open, etc. Certainly not going to set up multiple timers each time.

as far as fishing in general? It was very good at the beginning and for quite some time, but now i find it a chore. I look forward to fishing events just to encourage me to stock up on fish products :p
Maybe lack of patience, maybe fishing cant be sped-up with diamonds, maybe...

Fishing is difficult, especially to get the book full. Large fish is easy, but gold fish impossible, it's a combination of change and then catch the darn thing and then is the *&#grr wrong fish. It takes so much time and frustration. I play hayday to unwind. But the not completed book nags at me the whole time...
Fishing was quite easy to start though. I am down to less than 5 book fish left. I can’t catch them now because they are so few and far between and I don’t have any will to spend that much time trying to catch them.Quote:

it no longer bothers me. Maybe some day they will add something to that area and add fish to the book and it will be in again, but I don’t even do ducks anymore :p
I'm not in love with fishing but it doesn't flat-out annoy me.
Gotta give SC props for not making use lose lures if we lose fish. Takes so long to make lures, I'm glad we can re-use them even after that "one that got away."
I don’t mind the fishing area, but find it boring, would love to decorate it more.
