Not all strikes might have hit the tower.
Lol maybe you didnt shoot thw WT corrctly...?
Two lightning level 6 can take down a WT level 8 if you deploy it correctly.
If all of the strikes hit the wizard tower, it will take it down. If one or two strikes miss, it won't.
You said 2 level 6 lightning spells combine for 900 total damage and level 8 wizard tower has 800 health. Each lightning spell hits six times, so the two spells hit a total of twelve times. So, let's find how much damage each strike has. 900 total damage/12 strikes = 900/12= 75 damage per strike. To do 800 damage, you would have to hit the tower with the quantity of (800/75) lightning spells. 800/75= 10.67. In order to take down a level 8 wizard tower with two level 6 lightning spells, you would have to hit the tower with 10.67 strikes; however, since this isn't possible, you would have to round up to 11. Hope I helped.
Lol think about it.. It's splash damage and the strikes don't all go in one spot. If you drop it in the center, some will go to the side and may even miss your whole target. So the damage isn't all going to go to the target, making your spells fail sometimes
