I love shearing sheep... And silly things

I know this may sound strange, but I love to shear sheep. :) I really like the smooth way the shears move over them and I try to move those around to make designs when I shear them. :p

I also love reaping a full line of trees. And tapping the bird house until it gets filled up with all the cute little birds.

What silly stuff do you like??

I think it is fun tapping the whistles and watching all the animals run for their homes. Before I had pets I really didn't like them much. I didn't buy any until I found out they give XP. Funny how a person changes their mind. Now I find them quite amusing.

I love milking and immediately feeding the cows. If you milk and feed immediately they do a sliding movement which i love to see.
I also love the feeling of packing up crates, feels like an accomplishment.

I tap and hold the pig pen...their reaction makes me happy haha. Also I love putting lots of stuff in the machines and hours later, after waking up, looking at the huge pile o' stuff :D

What a fun thread! I too love shearing the sheep and make my shears zig zag back and forth as I pass over them. Love the effect! I also love the sound the chickens make when you harvest their eggs, kind of a "pfthfttt". And it doesn't mean I'm money grubbing, but I love the sound that's made when I harvest my sold bins in quick succession. I'm always reminded of Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas when she says "Nickels, nickels, nickels" after he's paid her a nickel in her coffee can for a session with the "doctor."

And calling the animals with their whistles is a hoot! I have to do it because some of them hide when they sleep. :)

See, we can always learn something new on this forum...I had no idea you could make designs on the sheep! Who woulda' thunk it??! Gee....maybe they'll get a hit song and start a new trend as "sheep rappers"! With Earthbiscuit and Shealie as managers! Stardom is just a shear away girls! :cool:

I love the way the chickens pop up when you gather eggs! I also love the cha-ching of the money sound!

I love all the butterflies when i welcome a new machine on the farm :cool:

HaHa my 4 yr old granddaughter helps me play. One day she said to me "GMa, we need to "scrape off" the sheepies", then when she did it, she said in an escalated tone of voice "GMa GMa, feed them, they're cold. They're shivering". I literally LOL

Huh. I did not know we could get birds by tapping the bird house. Just went and tried it, and it works! Making the fish in the river jump and peek out was my favorite, but now i am going back to play with the birds.

Aww that is super cute and means she is aware and cares. Unfortunately, like with the pigs and fish, that is not how it is in reality. Sometimes I wish it was :)

I love the sound the frogs make when they plop in the pond. I also get such a kick out of the pigs. The smile at you with the goofiest smile and they point to their mouths when they're hungry...hahahha

Cute. I love those sheep. When I first started playing, I'd say to my hubby 'Awww... look at the shivering sheep' and he'd just grunt at me in disinterest. Lol. Those antlers look part of them when they've got no wool. But I can't bear to see them cold for long, so I can only shave them if I have enough food to feed them straight away.

I like the harvesting when the crops zip into the silo.

Oh, where to begin....

Like hlorri, my granddaughter and I play together when she is here (she just turned 5 three weeks ago). She loves to shear the sheep and also seems to feel bad if they need to wait to be fed..."Awe, they're cold" she says. She also loves to do the "kabooms" (mining with any of the mining tools), so I try to save them for her. ;)

My 2½-year-old grandson loves to watch the bay horse "eyebrow" him. ;)

I love collecting bacon, as does my granddaughter...I think it's so funny that we put those fat little piggies into a sauna.

My grandkids love to watch the chickens flutter around if you tap their pen, as well as tapping on the lake to get the fishies to peek up and sometimes jump out of the water.

My granddaughter loves collecting the coins from a truck run, tapping the green check mark when filling a crate, and sending the boat off once all crates are filled. This is also something I'm allowing my grandson to do now, too, so he's enjoying these simple tasks, as well (it seems to take him a bit to catch and hold the crop or sickle to harvest and/or plant, but he's getting there ;) ).

My granddaughter loves to water other people's plants. When we check to see if we can help someone with a boat order, if I leave their farm without checking to see if any of their plants need to be watered, she reminds me about that and I then need to return to the farm to check. She also loves to be the one to send the Thank You letters when my plants get watered.

We also make fun of the goats when they sleep...have you ever seen a goat that tilts its head so far back when sleeping? Too funny!! My granddaughter will actually wait to feed them to see them sleep like that!

The music drives me insane too. Click the sprocket on the top left of your farm and then directly below the "X", is a music symbol. Click it, and it'll turn off the music but still leaves on all the other farming sounds. :)

Well, I turned on the sounds, and it startled my dog! Lol. So many things I never knew and I have been missing. I LOVE the sound of the gull when it dives into the water. Haha. ;)

But then I was informed that it was interfering with the hubs' Stevie Ray Vaughn. :cool:

I love the fact that you all convinced me to turn my sound on LOL!! I have never "heard" the game!!!!

Wow!!!! It's incredible!! Now I gotta find my frogs and dig out my pond!!!

You mean you've never heard the lobsters going in or coming out of the sauna? I think the developers did a wonderful job with that one- always makes me smile.

I laughed when when I read that it startled your dog. It used to drive my French Bulldog crazy when the gull would take off from the water. My English Bulldog however, she just sleeps thru everything and anything! She's the one in the photo...oops, sorry I digress.

The cows are my favorite too.

I love watching the way unwanted items shrink and zoom away into storage, no fuss, no muss! Huge items like giant trees, rows of fencing and topiary take up virtually no space in cyberspace! Wish storing decorations and cleaning up around my house was this easy.

I agree!!! I want the SC staff to come to my house and organize everything!! I'll even give them some jam-- my own homemade in real life huckleberry jam!!!
