The reason why BB games ONLY is so tedious is that I will have to wait for the full army to be ready to attack, why can't I just attack with small troops, like 10 barbarians, just like the way my main base is? the worst thing is even if I only deploy 1 barbarian in the battle and then retreat, I still have to wait for a full army to be trained for next battle - I sincerely don't understand what is the logic behind this.

Myself and most of my clan members do NOT care for the BH only CG and are not participating. Reason - limited storage, 8 hour (bonus) window inadequate, cannot upgrade defenses and expect to win, takes too long to complete each task,...on and on!

BuilderBase is simple when it comes to attacking compared to main village. Opposite of making the games worth huge points, the totals needed for each tier should be scaled down appropriately to match the simplicity of Builder Base.

Signed. It was poor and brutal Clan Games. I am saying this as someone that play Builder Base actively and loving it. I think a Main Village specific Clan Games in return will heal the wounds and memory of this Clan Games.
I must admit that this is the first time I've ever felt burned out during clan games. The thing is, I usually do the BB ones because they're the most productive.
Unfortunately, they decided to cut the point values in half for many tasks and have created others that are incredibly difficult if not impossible. I'm normally done by now but still haven't hit 2k. Putting in a huge amount of effort.
20 stars for 300? Come on, tasks like that are usually worth 600.

but of course you are right, the number of people who do actually enjoy B.B. as a stand alone game, is probably higher than this particular thread suggests. Having said that, a previous poster used the phrase “sc (don’t) know how to read a room” and took some flak. What I think he meant by that, is sc don’t know their client base that well. The inference being, if they knew what their client base wanted, they may have done a normal challenges split, but given greater rewards to B.B. challenges, rather than using the format of this current clan games.
SC also might have considered the reaction when B.B. was first introduced. A lot of main base players were concerned that the main village would suffer as a result of B.B. Those concerns receded into the background as time passed, although large scale main village content has yet to be introduced post B.B. Having a B.B. only games isn’t a big thing in and of itself, but clearly it has fanned the flames of those original concerns that surfaced when B.B. was introduced.
there is an issue there that sc has to recognise. By introducing B.B. as they did, they built a separate game, within a game. How they manage that format is quite important if they wish to avoid the sort of negative reaction they are seeing in this thread. I’m just not sure whether they are sensitive enough to understand the impact of the issue on their client base, to manage it particularly well. Time alone will tell.
Geez.....Rip Current "Builder" Games. So far only 7k points are scored by our clan. We decided to not play once we reach 7500 points.
Why are they giving so much importance to builder base! I don't understand. They have said that it is a side game. It's a Side business for making money i guess!!!!

If someone has a Battle Machine lvl 20 with 9 min of regen time, u will die if u has to do challenges of 1 hour.
I really like this idea. I play 2 bases at once and am constantly going back to check which is doing what... or when a bit tired at night find I can’t recall what either is doing! I’d also like it if when on the B.B. home village screen the progress counter didn’t just pop up then go away but rather remained visible (not on the attack screen, just when home between attacks).Quote:

So, I like clan games. Best addition since clan wars. I totally get the Clash Team celebrating BH8. Totally get it is an optional activity. Totally hope we never see another. I did get to collect 5 obstacles on my second account from the Th village.
This has not changed as far as I can see. Several people have hopped from one of our clans to another to help out there, and we are joining forces with another clan as well, of which the members have hopped over just fine. If you have TAKEN any task for clan A, (but let it lapse or haven't completed it,) you will be on the locked list for that clan and you can't take challenges for another clan, that is correct...Quote:

This is what got me, many of my clan mates and many others as well. The duration of 1 hour for many tasks (which would seem to be SC trying to entice people to gem things like the clock tower or regen time), the reduction in points for quite a few tasks and the addition of nearly impossible tasks for most of the playerbase. Not sure why SC has not followed up the voices that are speaking out in the forums as well as the information from in game results. Its only doable if you have unlimited clock tower boost,otherwise the grind is too much. My clan,me included have given up
50k points done and this is the fastest ever for us but we are a builder base trophy pushing clan for us builder games are a boon
After I get my loot, I set my defenses away from the non-defensive buildings. My main is going to BH8 and I don't have a free buildiner, of course. My gold is maxed and my elixir almost is. Can't spend it until my BH is finished. Already dropped 600 trophies and if I drop another 600, that's fine with me. Making it easier for the opponent too.

Well I would like to express my most sincere appreciation and gratitude for latest clan games.
I along with my clan mates have had an amazing time over the whole weekend loosing so many trophies and gaining absolutely no loot from the builders hall raids due to the cap being reached withing the first 6 attacks. I have had such a nice weekend away from my main base due to spending most of my time in the builders base gaining absolutely nothing apart from clan games points.
It has been a dream week end and I hope that we get another builders games real soon.

The 2 clans I’m in are using this as a week off clan games as so few of us play the BB. No complaints it’s nice to have the week off.

Never seen any trophy during on builder base before these clan games... I’ve been hit so many times by 4 barbarians and then they quit in the last few days, it’s pretty clear that because of these clan games. Builder base will take a big step backwards and people will basically just park their high troop level bbb’s in low cup range just for clan games. Becoming the B.B. version of engineers. Kind of defeats the purpose SC was going for I think. A whole new generation of “ not upgrading any higher than this” people being created
Whomever thought this BH Clan Games cash grab up, please get fired ASAP.
