I am certainly not enjoying these games, neither many of my clan members, and still we're sucking it up pushing through them. Hopping on here and complaining like a bunch of spoiled children suddenly having to earn what was once free to them before and arguing who is right or wrong isn't suddenly going to change the course of these current games. Before these games were introduced we had to either gem or wait out the upgrades, Supercell chose to give us hand and by so have to earn them through tasks not forced to do. These games could be a one time deal and they'll return to the regular mixed builders/main village challenges. Some on here I would not want to work with if told too do job they didn't want to do, couldn't handle seeing grown men cry and complain the way some do here on the forum.

Not sure if it was SC's intentions to attempt to promote BB as the majority of players I game with do not enjoy it, but it's having an adverse affect in our clan...

all we are doing now is laying out our bases in such a way that our defence always loses... that way we drop down in trophies and complete the clan games % and star challenges with ease. I assume this is the opposite of what SC wanted?
unless they just wanted more players playing BB? If this is the case then they have succeeded... for 4 days

Regarding the comparison between war on the day side versus builder base
Darian hinted in the latest AMA on the Reedit some 2v2 or 5v5 (?) battles.
Clan Games are another dimension in the coc, that also bring xp for our clans, but are not 'war related'.
If you see in the above mentioned AMA Darian told they were thinking in additional perks beyond level 10 (cute but not outrageous perks).
CGs giving xp permit newer clans grind their level kinda faster than before.

I think my biggest complaint is that SC has officially pushed too much.
50k has been 6 days, now 4
200% used to get you 100pts, now it's 250%

Doing more for the same, doing same for less progress and shorter window, we as a clan decided we are burned out and sat this one out overall. We might get the 15k tier, but probably not, we are tinkering away and some are doing their fair share where they had not gotten as much done on previous wars.
I'm guessing that you will have a lower percentage of participating clans get to the higher tiers and you will have a lower percentage maxing out their points. The 4 days isn't a huge thing because we slayed the last one, we had 25k first day and 35 by second, finished in 4, but it was break neck speed and we decided we wanted our weekend free.
I had been doing about 60-70% main village and the rest on builder hall in previous clan wars. I have only been playing for 15 months and I have multiple bases, that is where I continue to do most of my playing. At least I still make overall progress in the game after hitting 3 times in 8 hours. If I have a couple of hours to spend on the main village, I still make progress to the overall goal of the game, unlike the builder hall.
This is honest feedback and it's my first post, i really believe you will find that less people made progress to certain levels than they ever have before. X number of clans were in this clan games, X% made it to tier 1, tier 2, etc, vs last and previous games. This I hope will show SC the limits, I can't spend my entire life doing this game, it isn't healthy, but as part of a clan, you show up for wars, you show up for events, it is a social thing, like work, where you are part of a team. It's not the only team any of us are involved with in our lives and we have to be able to balance them all. Some people are really trying on this one and I feel bad for not being there with them, but 2 less days and less progress for more work, just can't do it.

Most of our our clan have no interest in the BH game, so we're barely registering points in these games. I'm hoping this is a one time thing for the BH8 release, as well.Quote:
