Builder Games - March 8th - March 12th

SC did it to welcome BH8!

I have to say, I disagree with people who say you don’t have to play the clan games.

Yes, supercell aren’t “forcing” us but with how the current system is designed, you need your clan members to participate and help get the rewards. All clans and all players will want the free rewards, who wouldn’t? So it becomes this thing that you morally do need to do to help your clan.

A redesign of the system that would work in my opinion would be: organise the tier unlocks by how many members are playing and do it like this assuming there are 5 tiers:

Tier 1: (members * 50% of personal cap)*(0.2)
Tier 2: (members * 50% of personal cap)*(0.4)
Tier 3: (members * 50% of personal cap)*(0.6)
Tier 4: (members * 50% of personal cap)*(0.8)
Tier 5: (members * 50% of personal cap)*(1)

You would then just want an opt out and opt in button for clan games like you do have for clan wars.

The challenges in these builder games are hugely flawed, but going back to the clan games themselves, there are flaws in the design which I hope get sorted out ASAP.

If SC’s decision on whether or not to repeat bb only games is based on their data, which presumably at the very least will indicate how many players participated compared to previous games, the single best thing anyone who dislikes it as much as I do is...

I’m part of an active clan that easily hits 50,000 and fairly comfortably hit 75,000.

This clan games is not well thought out though. Way too hard and not including the base we all joined coc for..

Come on now SC, we know your update was only for the builder base but this is a bit silly and far from fun.

It's hard not to express how I/you/others feel towards these games with the amount of time/money that has been expended in this game.
Whilst I'm in the group that don't like this round of games, I'm not just going to rant on about it.
I post leaving how I feel about them, what our clan has decided to do with this round and move on.
But I can't knock anybody for leaving their opinion on these games I don't think you should either. (Personal opinion on the last part of the sentence ofc).

And also as the person that Tomville replied to has only 1 post would it have not been better to explain about stickies and his the forum works rather than just stream in with the generic "There already a thread, please let in that".

Of course I saw the sarcasm in his post. There is nothing wrong with a bit of sarcasm, provided it isn't being significantly rude or insulting to other individuals. The one I "scolded" was for repeating it.

Though that one wasn't really valid in the first place. SC don't do things based on what they think forumers might feel about them, so there was no "reading a room" involved. I had read his first post, but ignored it then, even though I didn't think it valid.

well, yes, you are right it is a single one off limited time clan games. What, wait! Is it? Perhaps it’s not. Perhaps sc have another dozen play Bh or else oriented initiatives up their sleeve. Without feedback, sc may feel that they should continue to push Bh at us. THAT is the wider perspective.

for my part, I don’t care if Bh exists or not. If you like it, play it. But if you don’t like it, and I don’t, why should I feel that sc are always angling to get me to do so? It’s there, let me ignore it if I want.
