Your right change it is wasting my elixir
It's already ruled out :/
And elixer is for raiding, golds for defense and buildings etc.
they aren't gonna change it back any time soon
Before the change of the cost of spells y had a lot of elixir but not so much gold but now they changed it and I have a lot of gold but I can't even reach 500000 elixir because the elixir y get from my collectors y waste them on spells and troops but right now I'm gonna upgrade all my defenses before they change it back ( maybe they will or not ) and if they change it back then I will upgrade my balloons straight to level 6 if they don't change it back i will have to use hog riders to prevent wasting too much elixir
Elixir for spells was the best part of this update. No need to change it back.
When my th 8 was maxed (including troop upgrades) i always had too much e. However have since gone up to th 9, and trying to get elixir for camps, troop upgrades, building upgrades (de drills), and then troops and spells for raiding it has become much harder to stockpile. I'm sure once my troop upgrades are done itll be a non issue again, but this switch has made it a struggle to get necessary upgrades to compete at a higher level. I had to start my lab on healers 4, cause i didnt want it sitting idle while i farmed. This leads to another consequence of making it harder to stack de to upgrade queen, since I'm using dark to gain e. On the other hand i have plenty of gold for all my new defensive buildings. I know a lot of folks that already have their troops maxed will say leave it, but for those trying to get up there without spending money it just got a lot harder to catch up.
Just when I thought i had it all figured out.....
solution: dont use spells if your poor.
I think with elixir it's way better
I played for a while with this new feature and I arrived to the conclusion that this make the game unbalanced.
The problem with elixir spell (imho) is this:
Assume you have to fill camp with basic (lvl 5) troops to attack like:
- 16 giants (40k elixir)
- 6 wallbreakers (18k elixir)
- 70 archers (14k elixir)
- 24 goblins (2.4k elixir)
You will spend 74400 elixir just for the troups, if you add 2 spell (like lightning or cure) you need to add 44k.
In total 118400 elixir just for a normal attack. And I didn't consider more expensive troups like dragon or p.e.k.k.a.
Usually you have to aim for a village with more than 118400 elixir just to make it eligible for your attack, otherwise you will lose elixir in the process.
Now the problem: the maximum you can earn by a village is around 300k of elixir assuming you will find only the deposit full, not the extractors those is very hard to find, and also a village with full deposits is not easy to find. If you are not a genius strategy guy (or girl) or the village is really a mess you will get around 150k to 200k so you will earn from 30k to 80k for each attack instead the 80k to 120k like before.
If to this equation you add more potions (like a rage spell) or that sometimes some monster player will completly destroy your base you will find that make elixir now is much more difficult than before.
Possible solutions to this unbalanced situation:
- increase the amount of elixir you can raid for each attack
(or) - increase the amount of elixir you earn by the pumps
(or) - decrease the amount of elixir cost for the troups (lvl 4+)
(or) - decrease the amount of elixir to spent into potions (min 8k)
(or) - find another way to make us more money and put back potions with gold.
Thanks supercell to read all this :)
D.
They aint changin it back so get used to it ....we were the ppl who suggested make spells cost elixir ...when u max a townhall u will see there is no need of elixir except makin troops ....so stop ♥♥♥♥♥in and max your townhall...then complain ..
If it costs you 300k just to fill up the camps, either find a cheaper set up or go back to farming. Doesnt cost me over 100k for a farming army, and the spells not being in gold helps you make so much more gold. Much better this way!
