exhibit A) for why, all successful compositions cost at least 100k elixir + usually 150k elixir for spells.
exhibit B) loot in the system has declined, its rare to find 250 k minimum elixir in most bases.
exhibit C) even if you could find a base like this, the odds of 100% is so rare.
exhibit D) lab upgrades are insanely high especially with the continuation of troop level advancement.
exhibit E) gold is only usable up to a certain point, once you finish all upgrades, your done with gold whereas elixir is ALWAYS needed.
What can be done to fix this.
A) pump more loot into the system
B) add elixir pump upgrades
C) change over the x-bow refills to gold
D) switch back the spells to gold.
E) make it so you can pay for troops with gold or elixir (like a full gold option, full elixir option, and a 50% of each option)
I liked it when spells cost gold because it balanced the cost of the raid. Now raids are completely elixir so gold is ALL profit, but raiding for elixir is slower. Why cant they just let us choose which resource we want to use to pay for each spell. Would that be a problem, i doubt it because they do it for walls already. It cannot be too complicated if they have it worked out for wall upgrades. This is just a suggestion. I think the game is great and lots of fun
