Valkyrie the forgotten and unused unit.
I'm just going to lay down the facts.
It costs 180k to get a level 4 Valkyrie.
Valkyrie's splash damage is 1 tile radius.
Takes 15 minutes to train her.
Level 4 training cost is 160 elixer.
Level 4 Valkyrie has a DPS of 124.
Level 4 Valkyrie hitpoints is only 80 higher than a giant, yet she is free roaming like barbarians.
Her splash damage when attacking bases is rarely noticeable or even helpful.
She is suggested to be good in defence, but when compared to a wizard (housing space 4) who has a higher DPS than one singular Valkyrie why would you use her?
Now I'm not going to suggest stupid things like she targets defences. Though it would make her still less powerful than hog riders due to their ability to not jump walls (Yes I know about Jump spells, but their pointless to waste on farming, or on something like a Valkyrie when hunting trophies).
What I'm suggesting is.
A 5th level to the Valkyrie. This can improve her greatly and may even make her more playable, as she isn't a bad unit. But her cost of training, time of training, research costs. Well makes her less of a valuable unit for her stats compared to say giants(Housing space 5). Who may have less damage than Valkyrie's but target defences.
Her training cost for a level 4 (maybe level 5 if it's accepted as an idea) should be reduced to something more like 80 elixer. A level 4 hog rider (Housing space 5) only costs 45 elixir to train and is widely (I'm not sure as to since witches release and their reductions in stats etc..) accepted as a brilliant unit, and was dominating the game.
Her research costs for level 2-4 shouldn't be anywhere near as high as 180k dark elixir. Hog riders are 140k for 2-5, Witches are 75k, granted they only have one level. But for that one level to make them probably the best unit in the game only costs 75k is mental.
I propose her research cost should be more like 120k (Yes that would be less than Hog riders, and yes they're classed higher in the barracks) But she has one less level. If She did get a 5th level I would say 180k (depending on other factors of improvements such as DPS improvement, HP improvement etc..) could be a more reasonable use of dark elixir.
A change in splash damage radius.
I'm under the impression she has the highest radius of splash damage. Even in defence though, she can't hide behind walls like archers/wizards can. I mean this argument can be rephrased as in defence would you rather have barbarians with higher health and dps in your clan castle if you get attack or would you rather have archers, with lower health and dps but the can stay behind a layer of walls making them live a lot longer. Thus changing the outcome of the attack on your base.
So from this I propose her splash damage radius is improved to 3 from 1.
This doesn't seem drastic as it would still be a lot of attacks from her to take out a mass of tier 1 troops.
From this benefit, her attacking standards might be slightly more improved as she will occasionally be able to hit 2-3 things. This wont be significant (rarely) to the outcome of a battle, but it would give a slight boost to her usage of splash damage.
I'm suggesting a slight tweak with her stats. Only a slightly increase, for example level 4 124DPS and 1k HP to something more desirable like 140DPS and 1.2K HP. Again not a massive increase (as I'm trying to stay realistic) but I feel as for offence her main comparison is the giant. (I don't see the Valkyrie ever being used for High trophy gameplay unless a major benefit is added to her) So when you compare the Giant level 6 to the Valkyrie level 4 she just doesn't weigh up with her training time, DPS, HP, Elixir cost, Research cost and housing space.
TL;DR
A 5th level.
Research cost changed from 180k (for level 1-4) to more like 120k
A slight boost in DPS and HP.
Splash damage radius increase from 1 to 3.
Cost of training reduced from 160 dark elixir (Level 4 Valkyrie) to something like 80 dark elixir.
A 15-30% boost in DPS and HP.
Things I see fit for the Valkyrie
I see the housing space as perfectly acceptable if other changes are made.
I see the time training is perfectly acceptable is dark elixir costs are lowered.
I see the targeting of the Valkyrie is perfectly acceptable if she gets other boosts.
This is what I would love to see suggested to supercell, any feedback is appreciated.

Valkyrie supercells one of the biggest fail
