hogs go around the pumpkin bomb walls, other than thats so far no troops gets close enough. Im pretty sure a lucky hogger can trigger it after it wipes all my defenses and comes back to kill the nondefensive buildings

Time is an investment more expensive than money. Either time or money, as long as the journey was fun, then that's what matters. It is a game afterall, and most spend more on golf clubs. :cool:

And the journey hasnt ended, still got archers, walls, traps and heroes to max :)

Here's a tip to all you extremely premature TH9's, you just gotta spend a $1000 more dollars and you won't premature anymore! :D

But this is a great thread, interesting to see the base progression and not many people would admit to gemming like this.

Many told me to quit and start over, but I couldnt resist gemming even more as I invested enough already. I cant justify the amount I spend in anyway but during the first 6 months of this year I did not have car payments/insurance to take care of, I slowed down my gemming into 0 as of few months ago after buying a car/paying bills :D.

Heres a question most would ask: would I have gem if I could take back all the gems used and progress down to my base? The answer is no, gemming itself is an experience unlike farming. I got what I paid for and it gave me the fun experience I desired.

Now Im slowly "farming" TH10, and enjoying the game in a much slower pace.

I wouldn't call it sad; OP didn't fall in debt or anything from spending money on the game, and in the end he enjoyed it, that's all that matters. Some people simply want to see their village progress, but don't want to commit masses of their time slowly farming their way up.

Your pumpkin bomb is exposed.

I love this thread, and I love the stubbornness to keep playing when the community said quit. Keep it going.
