I don't know if mods have access to stats, but are you talking about th11s or th10s or just in general, as i do see th11s vs th11s 3 star ( not with heal though), but not any th10 vs th10 yet. your underlying point, that th10 v th10 offemce still lags defence and is slightly off balance compared to other townhalls, gets lost when you make a statement like the biggest defence nerf in clash history wasnt a nerf.

I was excited for trader but when I saw that everything available in trader's shop will be traded for gems then how a normal player who can't afford to buy gems will use this feature? Well that's not fair if everything is only available for gems?

As of now, the training potion costs 25 gems while regular boosting costs 40. Same for resource potion. I am pretty sure that we will get magic items at a lower cost than they are worth. Eg- if they sell the Hero Book for 600-700 gems it would still be a bargain coz it takes 999 gems to complete a hero upgrade.
You can always ignore the deals if you don't like them.

As I said a few pages back, I was worried that this is just SC pushing more micro transactions on us. I'm sad that this is the confirmed behavior.

No, this is another in a long string of SC trying to monetize this game, and extract every dollar of revenue from its marks as quickly as it can. We don't need another channel for micro transactions in this game, we are already overwhelmed with them. Every screen has the opportunity to spend gems now, and we are bombarded with deals and offers a rubbish like that.
I get that they have to make money, but they were making money hand over fist before adding this junk. I am guessing that their corporate overlords are forcing them to do this, it really is the only thing that makes sense. This game is starting to look like every other mobile game that tries to squeeze cash from its players; all we need now is "Buy Now!" with the <blink> tag, and we'll be good.

no impressed with the trader in the initial videos but it was mentioned at times he offers a free item. For sure will make it worth a daily check to see whats offered.

I'd like to mention here that the power potion NEEDS to be removed from war. Especially now that you can "buy" them with gems from the trader...that is a huge detriment to war clans. PRIOR to this announcement several people in my clan alone had stated that if power potions are ever sold for gems they will quit. Being able to buy them from the trader will further upset the balance of clan wars...

i disagree completely. The power potion only truly helps new TH upgrades. Just a couple months into any town hall the war troops are upgraded. The very few times the potion could make a difference great to see it happen glad to see the player be rewarded for spending gems or farming in the games.

power potion upgrades all your troops to maximum level of your lab level. an engineered th 11 with lab level 9 can have all troops at maximum level for one hour. if this potion will be buyable it would be a more advantage.

In the PB video it is a test version of the game. I don't think it will cost more if you will buy from the trader it will make no sense.

I am talking about War and War only, its great for farming. What I am hearing from you though is that I should create and engineered account and keep my weight extremely low by not upgrading even troops, just upgrade my camps and heroes. Then use a power potion to crush any base?

I understand how the power potion works. My point its Player with any war focused playing in mind will have the war troops generally updated so the potion has limited bonus to them. We have not seen a power potion change the outcome of a war. I'm sure we get the same -5, engineered , .xyz basses you face.
Power potion is only viable for the fresh TH be whatever ever path they choose. In a short time the said base war troops will be upgraded.

If that is the way you want to play sure go for it. It's unlikely your crushing bases without the hero, spell factories, CC, etc that goes along with the "potion" these all add war weight and until SC adjust the match maker its your world rock on.

After the last update...
After the last hyped up update (builder hall) that was a dud my spirit was crushed..i have been playing this game for years and i can acully say this is the best update since clan wars. And i really am stoked about my favorite tool the pekka...(no skill in spaming bases with loons) im old school and use gowipe all the time..even in wars ..so will be fun to see some higer lvls pekkas. Supercell has finally got back to the basics of the main base..and lots of other things for everyone...so guess i have to say its been a long time but nice job supercell🖒

The Iron Fist will rage up the King and any Barbarians he spawns.
Barbarians in the regular army will not get the rage bonus from the Iron Fist any more.

it seems like a nice & exiting update so far props to SC:thumbsup:. i only wished that the trader had at least 1 trade off with resources & 2 trade offs with gems but turns out that all 3 trade offs will be with gems and occasionally a free one. also 5 rings for a single lvl12 wall & 8 rings for a row of bb lvl8 wall seems a bit too much unless we could earn high amount of wallrings every clan game.
all in all im eagerly waiting for this update:caticon:

We wanna costumization. Example we can change base color so ı wish ı was chose brown may be black base color. I hate green base. This color incomsistent with walls and buildings. And we wanna personal buildings, personal buildings colors. Costumization for solidiers. Soldiers can carry a clan banner on combat. May be we change soldiers colors, clothes. Annd we want new music for game. Different music is wanted by us. I realy really want it!

Apparently you haven't faced engineers in war? Perhaps you don't war? there are many, many bases out there currently with maxed out camp space, heroes, cc, spells, that only have loons and hounds upgraded for troops. These are the types of bases that power potions are encouraging. They get weighted as a town hall 9 and walk through any town hall 10. Now power potions have opened them up to any attack, and you want to perpetuate this problem?

Hmmm, I don't want to sound like I'm disappointed, the update as a whole is moving along nicely. New things to help with progress faster is good for those who need it, the addition of the trader sounds like fun. But, I'm hoping there is more to it than just what we've seen thus far? And of course I'm talking about the main base, because what I see so far is impacting troops that are already in need of some help. By boosting the multi and adding levels to traps/bombs/walls etc it's going to make a bigger impact on them which they already can't handle, ie; miners/valks/hogs.
There are really only two strats at TH11 that are even worth using in war and that's LaLo and BoWitch and that's becoming very stale. So I really hope more is coming their way.....
And I know some people are going to say "oh hogs are being used at 11 to get the 3* in league play", well I'm sorry but with all the cheating that's gone on with league play my suspicions are high, until I see for myself, people I know that are very good attackers doing the same thing, I'm going to stick to my statement of there are only two strats I see as being useful.

Good Job COC team. I can see you are trying to push everyone to max levels. And I hope you are doing this because you have great plans for future updates. I loved this update. I found that traded is selling stuff with gems. It could have been better if we could see other resources also which could be used as a trade option for those magical items. But I trust you guys and I know this is done for the best

Not trying to be negative, but why did we need PEKKA lvl 7? Couldn’t you of just dropped Lvl 4 pekka to th9, and supercharged the stats on lvl 5&6?? I would of much rather seen barch8, goblin 8, balloon 8(lvl7 @th10), healer 6(lvl5 @th10), wallbreaker 8(with lvl 6 and 7 dropping down a th each). Any of these would of been okay, and I’m certainly not asking for all of them at once.
The reason I’m saying this is that certain troops at certain town halls don’t get upgrades at all. Wouldn’t it make more sense from a balance perspective to have all troops have at least 1 upgrade at each town hall level? I think this would make balancing much easier as then you could just fine tune certain levels. I guess the plus side is that lvl 7 dragons at th11 are more of a possibility now with lvl 6 dropping, but still..

Why not release more walls sooner as most maxed 11's have been bored for years?
Dropping these all at once is brutal. If history has shown anything the economy tanks when there is such a strain on resources.
700 million needed per maxed 11 on walls alone is gonna be an issue.
For the rest of the update I like the direction of CG.
But releasing all these walls at once is going to cause a drought.

The single-target is already severely lacking in power, especially with spam miners being the meta now (spam bowlers is also a meta, but multi-target damage buff will actually be effective against them). Why does it need to be nerfed?
Also a few more damage per second won't help the multi-target infernos much against the unwanted meta of spam miners, it'll just make even more people switch from walls of loons to walls of miners. I think multi-target should cut healing by half, that'd be a good compromise between no healing and killer healers. Or nerf level 5 miners capabilities against infernos in some way.
Also xbows are in a sad place now, I think they were perfect before December, but imo level 1- 50 DPS, level 2- 65 DPS, level 3- 80 DPS, level 4- 95 DPS, level 5- 110 DPS would work.
Level 4 PEKKAs at th9 has been something that is 2 years late though, I love that addition. (Level 6 pekkas at th10 sounds nice as well)
That aside, which town hall level will the new trap levels be available at? PLEASE SAY TH10

These updates are getting stupid. And pushing a th11 so far up on its own, it’s boring to be apart of. No thought has gone into this except money making for SC, which I get as money makes world go round etc.
but every th you can with shill hit up a th. even a th9 can 2 star a th10, to gain extra res or get two stars in war. But it’s so hard to get a 2 star as a th10 on a th11, because everything is already overpowered in defences for a th10 to do any real damage. Can’t go in with golems, eagle stops that, can’t use hounds, as lvl 3 is pointless against extra lvls on infernos and Xbows and an extra Xbow also.
Now im not saying it should be easy to hit up a th level, but you are taking the risk away from these th11s from hitting down as they know that there isn’t a chance of the th10 ever getting revenge. Unlike at any other th lvl. Maybe what you need is to decrease the loot to -35% for hitting down one level, and +35% for hitting up a level, to stop the easy res from people trying to max out. Not I think the minimal 10% it is atm.
but I suppose there is one big problem with this, upsetting the minority’s with that th11

If th11 offense is strong enough that it makes th11 base designers use an anti-3 star base, it then is easy to 2 star the th11 as a th10. If th11 offense is so weak that the th11 base designer designs it to try to stop th11s from 2 starring, it then is no surprise that it would be very hard for a th10 to 2 star it.

It all depends on the base and the army you're using, I'm happy that th10s can't just 2-star th11s with a half hearted attack, otherwise they could potentially 3-star th11s going at full effort. Personally a troop I feel is being neglected is the valkyrie, at some point Supercell changed the Valk AI and now they spread way too much, even with a perfect funnel, meaning heal spells and rage are far less effective for her now.

I rhink they want to get rhe three star th10 vs th10 more in line with th9 and th11 hitrates. The single seamed somewhat more powerful than multi which was not very usefull at all, so maybe thats the reasoning.

But I love GoWiPe, so Level 4 Pekka are significantly going to make change ;)

I personally doubt you'd see GoWiPe return to the war meta, however I would not be shocked if GiWiPe became more common in farming (and possibly trophy pushing) raids, specifically those intending on getting dark elixir without trying to spend any in the process, like me!
