I'm intrigued, was that an ex-pilot, an exploit, or something altogether different in Clasher-speak. Worm and I are fairly useless at Clashing although we do try to be fierce, it never quite works out. But we are pretty good at Hay Day, so here goes:
- Don't chop all your natural trees down, or blow up all your rocks or dig your swamps out, until you are really sure you want to get rid of them.
- Despite what everyone else will tell you, do not ignore the little people, sell them as much wheat, corn, soya and eggs as you can possibly produce, carrots too and sugar cane. They will ask for what ever you have the most of, and because they are cantankerous, what you have nothing of. So keep your wheat and corn high and they will keep coming. This constant harvesting will bring you expansion items, saws, axes, shovels dynamite TNT. Sell what you don't want. The money will mount up, don't worry how much they offer you, it will vary and also don't worry about only getting five XP, The benefit is in the expansion materials and how surprisingly quickly all those little bits of easy cash mount up.
- Don't panic about opening your mine too early. You could always consider leaving it until you start to get bored.
- The game changes quite dramatically once you mend your dock and have boats.
- It's never too early to just relax and enjoy planning your farm layout.
- Most of the fun is in the earlier levels of this game, don't be in too much hurry to whiz through them.
Unlike CoC there is a lot of player interaction of a helpful nature within the game. This is backed up by a very friendly forum, (as is CoC). Just remember, no raiding! And in the immortal words of John (Boroyob), "no paping and rillaging"!
