Some geriatric fish please???

I have tried and tried and tried to catch the global fish and I'm just not quick enough. I guess I don't have the reactions of a 12 year old gamer, but could SC please give us a few chances to get even one? I'm getting so frustrated, especially when I hear of how many are being caught, by more nimble fingers than I have, that's for sure. Everything starts out fine, but then half way to being caught they just zoom away and are gone. I've tried every technique I can think of, with NO luck. I'm wondering if some of you great fishers could come on over to my farm and catch some of mine for me? I have blackberry tarts on the counter :D!

Its not that difficult, most of the time if they're small circles they would be global fishes. Just make sure you fish at the right spot. For a start, try for the zander with a green lure at the spot infront of the hut.

I'm certainly far from a 12 year old gamer too, and I've lost quite a few as well. I remember reading in the forum at one time, that when a fish takes off and hits that outer ring, sometimes instead of trying to fight against it like you would a real fish, move your line closer to the fish and a little to its side. I've been following that advice and sometimes it works, and sometimes it's just destined to be on my line at a later date. But it has worked.

Hopefully soon you'll be able to utter those words...."I caught a fish thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissss BIG! And it almost pulled me off the dock!" :cool:

i curse at the fish that got away and keep throwing my lure until i find that small circle again....
i just spent 30 mins at one fishing spot cause that !#$!(*(#*#$@( fish kept getting away and in the end after i caught it its still a silver barb! gimme gold pls for all that fighting >.<. so i dont think its a matter of young or old lol

Gosh! Thanks for the info. It sure is nice to hear that I'm not the only one who can't catch those fish! I'll keep trying as we still have a couple more days for the event. Anyone else have some brilliant tips? And in the meantime, I'm the one with the water wings down on the dock of the bay. Just in case I hook the big one!

I know what you mean Puddleduck! They are fast little buggers. And I swear those circles shrink slower when it's one of the new special fish!
