Find bases with their TH outside.
Like Klark said, you should be able to TH Snipe your way over to Gold 1. Then it gets harder. Attack people with their Town Halls semi-exposed, but there won't be a lot of them. You'll need a whole lotta patience for this. If you see a TH5 or TH6 base, you MUST attack them, even if they have hardly any loot. They will be the easiest bases you'll find in the range. Most of the people in Gold 1 to Crystal 3 are TH9s or TH10s with their TH stuck firmly in the middle. I myself just used a 9 Dragon, 14 Archers and 3 Minions raid when I was very close to Crystal, cuz there was just no exposed THs. Oh, and I'm a TH7 who just got to Crystal 2 days ago ^_^
got to crystal barching (8 WB, 80 barbs, 104 archers) about 5% TH sniping. I also did a couple mass-drags. but it gets difficult around gold 1
BAM should get you from silver to crystal in a couple of hours. Boost your spell factory.
Don't be shy pressing NEXT a lot. There are plethora of bad bases out there all the way up to 2300.

I used 5 giants below crystal. Spells are Rage Rage Heal.
Aim for 2 stars, save troops for next attack if possible.

I got crystal 2 at th 5 with lvl 1 balloons.......
I just got to crystal yesterday with half a TH7, I spent about 2 hours per night pushing trophies for the past 4 days to get from gold 3 to crystal 1. I had lv4 barb, archer, wb, giants, wizards.
The key for me was having 20 minions in a standard army. They are great for sniping collectors and TH protected by cannons and mortars, also for killing bk that are outside.
After 1800 you don't see a lot of TH outside anymore. The key then is to find bases with weak AD, penetrate them with standard troops and then deploy minions into their corner. TH9-10 bases are not meant to defend against small armies, so a lot of their towers are spread out, when in doubt, break in a corner, take the TH then leave.
Always snipe with at least 100 armies, you start seeing farmers with 4 teslas guarding TH after a while.
Also try to be online during the whole session. I got revenged and lost 50 trophies from a hog army this one time.
When I first went to crystal I started at roughly 1200 and purely TH sniped up, nothing else. It should only take a few hours to do.
A Town hall 5 is currently in Masters league from Town hall sniping, if you want to get it easily just snipe Town halls, lots of them till around 2200 now, still some up to 2800 if you look really hard
look don't listen to these people who tell you to th snipe I got up 1836 with out sniping the only piece of advice I can give you keep on pressing that next button till you find the base that you want to takeQuote:
