Ooooh, Hidden Message?

Hi all,

Please, take this post for what it is- just something to hopefully make someone smile today...

Is SC sending a little hidden message within their fun loving work? When I first saw the goats in their holiday cheer, I thought, "hmmmm....could they have not have provided a little higher end scarf? Did budgetary constraints only allow them to purchase from a thrift store or something? Maybe they should have borrowed some funds from Mary Poppins with her classy bows?!" Then I noticed the scarves were pink and said okay, maybe they're a new fashion statement in the works.

Then I noticed that the new fish I caught, "Giant Barb". She too is all decked out. Sporting Angelina Jolie lips while swimming and winking her way to under the waterfall (for the adults, woo-hoo!)...all the while flashing her pretty pink scales (at least she has that going for her...poor woman swimming around in the lake with a name like that, geez! :)). Anyway, isn't she a giant beauty all pretty in pink too!

So, what d'ya think??! We all know that the color pink is closely affiliated with breast cancer awareness and Susan Komen. So, maybe there's a little subliminal message from SC.

Save the Ta Ta's!!! :)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so it may have something to do with that. It's already mid- November so who knows why that color has been chosen.

I love the way your mind works, BulldogLover!! :D I was just enjoying all the new PINK stuff because like so many other girlie girls, I love PINK! But this really hit home as I just got the ALL CLEAR this week on my two year bout with suspicious activity with the ta tas! Now am back to once a year exams and so thankful it all is ok. :cool:

Wow, Earthbiscuit...you have no idea how much I appreciate when someone gets those golden words, "all clear"! It is wonderful, isn't it??! My mother was a survivor, and I've walked that stress induced road of waiting to hear those words too. Unless you stand in those shoes, it's so difficult to imagine the relief.

I'm definitely the power tool kinda gal and pink was never usually a part of my identity, however I have great appreciation for a pink lovin' "girlie girl!" And actually, with all the breast cancer awareness and the pink that coincides with it, I now have one pair of my work gloves that are deep pink! Oh my goodness...I may be of the verge of an identity crisis!! Lol.

As for the pink scarves....personally I find them rather disconcerting and every time I see them something tells me "this is very wrong".
I do prefer your explanation though...sincerely hope that is their intention?

I am laughing so hard at the "identity crisis" comment!!! Hysterical!!! ;)

And I, in turn, adore "power tool" kinda gals!!! I grew up on a horse ranch, and there was no tolerance of any girlie girl behavior. So maybe that is why I embrace it to the max now! Haha :p
