I don't think you read my post @ #332 above at all. A lot of players time on clash is dependent upon real life things. Setting a minimum has the potential to cause more issues that it solves imo.

Why should I leave a clan I've been in for over 3 years? The games are fine as they are. We have the ability to remove freeloaders/hoppers. Why create a solution for a problem that can already be dealt with when that solution brings with it more problems than it fixes?
I also fills the same way. Clan mail and clan chat do all the work. this feature might not be useful to you or your clan. But Some leaders might find it helpful to see new player is not a freeloder or will not able to freeload rewards. It's just a additional manegment tool as well as an optional feature. Point of view will change from leader to leader.
As I mentioned in my post on the last page, it has the potential to cause more problems that it solves. In my opinion it has the potential to divide clan members as well for the reasons given in that post.
I simply do not see the benefits to changing the current system when we already have the tools needed to deal with freeloaders/hoppers.
Of course everybody is entitled to their opinion on this subject. But Darian has made SC's position clear. These are clan games and all points contribute to the overall total no matter what that point figure is.
Excluding players who cannot hit a certain limit (because of real life events etc) goes against the ethos of the name 'clan games'.
Kicking freeloaders/hoppers is not against the name 'clan games' as they are not working for the benefit of the clan overall.
I did. I am more curious as to why other clans wanting to put in a minimum influences you at all.
The clan games are still a group effort even with the minimum. That won't change - it can't. But clans wanting to have a minimum to ensure they get the reward tier they desire is not selfish - it's promoting more activity from those who could play more, but don't care to.
We discussed several pages ago how if a minimum is instituted, it could be set up so that the points of an individual won't count toward the clan total until the minimum is reached. That way, the individual isn't contributing to the clan total without receiving rewards. This would add some risk for leaders who choose to set the limit too high and cause more critical thinking on the part of the leadership. This addressed your "contribution but no rewards issue".
