Clan Games Fallout

• I am in a clan of 8 people out of which only 3-4 members are active. We all live in same area. So no big clan.
• Currently we are not thinking of expanding the clan as we are not sure of committing time to the game for next few months.
• No.
• No plan for merger with unknown clans.
• No, as we created our clan for sole purpose of 5v5 wars.
• Yes we are happy with rewards as we only target for few potion only that might help during farming and during war.[This game, we acheived Tier-IV rewards and are happy with it]
• No comments.
• Nah.

• If you are in a smaller clan has this made you considered a merger?

No. 6 person clan of family + 1 rl friend and going to stay that way.

• Did your leadership make a decision not to push or pressure players regards Clan Tasks and you are satisfied which whatever effort people made in your existing clan?

Yes. Some clan games we play and some we ignore. We make this decision as a group. There'll always be another clan games so missing some rewards is no big deal to us.

• Has this changed your clan in anyway either foreseen or unforeseen?

No.

• Are you in a big clan that failed to reach the top tier due to inactive members and has it made you look at the make up of the clan and consider changes

  • Yes and No. We weren't small as we usually hover around 35 members. But I didn't think we'd have enough to get to 75k so we hit the recruiting trails. We're at 42 members now I think.

  • We did pressure people to contribute, and I stand by that. We're not a CWL clan. Clan Games gives us an excellent barometer of activity outside of war.

  • Yes, we are going to require minimum participation levels in every Clan Games. There are a handful of people of that carry the heavy weight of max Clan Games participation every Games, much like there are a handful that do the same for war, and they aren't the same people most of the time. We're now a mixed Clan Games & War Clan, and it's a dynamic that I feel has improved our clan environment tremendously.

We are a 40+ clan and just scraped over the finishing line with 18 hours to spare.
We have never struggled before but this time it was a tough ask and required quite a few reminders and encouragement.

It highlighted like never before who the freeloaders are in our clan. We ask for participation and previously our lower THs have had reason for no donations or non-participation in war but my TH6 mini was the easiest to attain 3k points on in less than 4 hours.

We may see some of the freeloaders exiting after this clan games.

Large clan but with some less active older members. The cap at 3k was the killer as it required 25 members to max to make it. We will be about 5k shy of the goal. Also there is game burnout going on too from so many back to back games which killed the excitement for this and made it more of a chore.

Raise that cap to 5k and spread the games out a little more and this would have been a reasonable challenge. I feel bad for the small clans that were mathematically excluded from the start.

Leader of level 15 clan with 460+ war wins with 45-49 members all the time.
Many of the folks in our clan are such people who stayed for more than 5 months.
Only a couple of them joined last month.

We have achieved all tiers in all the clan games so far.

I send out a mail as soon the games starts by mentioning a minimum requirements.
10-20 ppl get max points, 15-20ppl achieve the minimum points. And 3-4 people get less than 300 points.

We don't feel annoyed or irritated about few getting low points and gaining Max rewards. They've been with us for months, we have good understanding so we don't create drama or fight about it..
What I've understood as a leader is,
When you are friendly and motivating people to be the best, they'll deliver the best. If you try to be rude and act like a dictator, people don't care to give their best.
Nobody left clan during clan games.
Clan is the same, a bunch of happy people who work together to achieve all goals and help each other...

I've extended help to anyone from Forums who wanna join, participate in games and get max points. But our clan is of 48 ppl, so previous game, I didn't find any.
Any upcoming game with massive point target.. your can send me a PM..

And last but not time least, I've never kicked nor I'll kick anyone giving a reason as clan game participation...

I'm a Co-Leader in a fairly big clan, last ClanGames (50k) we barely got it and had to get in extra people from global who didn't match our usual standards to get the rewards. We have got around 44 members, on and off. It felt a bit weird to do that because we're used to make 'standards' for people who'd like to join because we war non-stop.
Other then that, no changes made. Afterwards they left or got kicked because they knew in advance why they joined.
This lunair ClanGames (70k) we achieved the maximum tier yesterday morning, without reciding to globalchat for extra help. We got around *checks* 15 people maxing their points, but we did ask people with more then 1 account to get as much points as possible.
6 people got between 2000-3000 points, 10 people got 1000-2000 points, and 7 got below 1000 points. 5 People didn't participate.

We're a bigger clan, so we couldnt really do a merger. My third account is in a small clan, but they are not really motivated to max out the points. They got more of a philosophy like 'well see how far we get, everything is fine'

With my third account, yes. I'd like to get the clangame rewards for the books obviously. But i dont really play a lot and i like the people there, so i stay.

Nope, was doubting to switch my third account to the clan of my other accounts, but i thought 6000 contribution was enough over there.

We only said that 'we' are going for the book of everything and we'd appriciate everyone to get as many points as possible. As said, 31 people got a good amount of points, and a few slackers. But we made it so its fine.

Well, yeah kinda. I dont wanna push people all the time to do clangame challenges, it feels like i'm the bad guy who's complaining. So we're just like 'If you can, please do, we'd appreciate it'.

Not really, but i noticed a couple of members complaining about putting in a lot of time and effort for points, while others just do a task and leech. These leechers are those people who got well below 1000 points.
We're gonna have a look at if this is a recurring thing, if it is, we're gonna have to think of something to fix that..

Complains we got in the lunair clangames:

- A lot of challenges to be completed within the hour, only possible with boosts or use of gems.
Players either always trash those, or complain about it

- Wishing that they could do a builderbase and mainbase challenge at the same time

- 3000 points was not high enough. We got it, but it took a lot of energy and effort to get these books and we've heard that the effort didnt line up with the rewards. We completed it because it was the first time we've ever got this high of a clangames, but next time we'll be fairly critical about that last tier if its worth it. Don't think it will happen again unless the reward lines up. Maybe if we can get more points each.

I left my clan, was a co-leader there,the clan became inactive and i was there for 2 years. Joined a builder hall based clan before the starting of second clan games which was i think around to the end of December. I deliver my max points, and in this lunar games the clan reached last tier too

Completed tier 7....

we can miss tier 8....

My view: Supercell has kept back to back major clan games... Once a month is okay and weekly weekend samller ones...

IF we get 1 more day, it would have been possible, we are still trying, but supercell must reduce the points....
Or increase the time....

However this havent affected our clan.

We would have completed tier 8 in 5-6 days but the problem is common for most of us so no harm...
MArch- April are peak examinations days...

BIGGEST PROBLEM:

Supercell Try to avoid 2x clan perks event during MAjor clan games...

We take leave from clan wars but this time we did not as that 2x event made us level 8 with 1500 perks right now..

Clan games had one hugely positive effect on us. Recruiting has been a real task for us, and quality is usually lacking. So when 6 guys from a tiny clan merged into ours I was more than pleased. With one other solid recruit we picked up a total of 7 "keepers" this week.

I certainly hope they choose to stay with us. I like doing 40v40 wars but numbers had dwindled until we were down to 20v20. I now have hope of getting back to 30 v30 and with continued recruiting back to major league wars.
