Clan Games Fallout

I’m a co, we set the minimum at 800 points and all but 5 delivered, along with 15 who maxed out at 3k.

I am put off by the commitments of leadership, it just seems like a waste of my life to put so much effort into what amounts to a dumb free app game in the grand scheme of things.

Oooh shots fired...I'm actually of the polar opposite to that. The more responsibility a leader and co's are given the more it appeals to me. A token title is about as much use as a Barbarian in a TH11 war attack but give me some more real power and control and suddenly I'm looking at leaders and co's rightly demanding some leadership ability from the front.

I'm in a nearly full clan, and we just squeaked 75k in the last 12 hours of the last games. I say squeaked because, we had some people not in the games, some casuals and some hardcore guys.

One thing we did do, which might work, and goes along Holps' last couple of points, was to promote someone who has been in the clan for ages and a massive CG enthusiast to co and got him to basically run the show for it, geeing up the players, scouting new talent and making sure we got over the line. He even barracked the other leaders to get us over the line. But it worked, we've still not missed a reward tier. Might be something for larger clans to think about :)

I'll only say yes for the first one! We reached till 60k! Missed the BoE by a slight difference!:(

We were doing good in clan games, completed all but we decided to merge our two clans (lvl 11& lvl13) so that we don't have to push too hard and also regular clan wars now😎

I'm leader of a 35 clasher WarClan. War is our #1 focus, I've made this clear many times to my clan. We just missed the last tier of rewards for the first time ever. Some people who finished their 3000 points were quite upset and some others who finished their 3000 points didnt really seem to care. I'm a maxed th11 so I have no use for books, loot or gems. The only thing that interested me were the free boosts but they're basically useless in legends. Anyway, these 'optional' clan games are starting to cause drama where there was none before. I wish they really were 'optional' because they're starting to become a burden.

Clash games burn out is real!! I absolutely cannot believe the next games are starting in 5 days:straightface:

We are big in numbers but small in activity and had no hope of reaching top tier. • Did your leadership make a decision not to push or pressure players regards Clan Tasks and you are satisfied which whatever effort people made in your existing clan? While I completely understand the frustration people feel with ‘freeloaders’, we let people do as they will in my clan because that’s the environment I want to be in. We understand people have lives and that free time ebbs and flows. It’s swings and merry go rounds. Plus there are some that could never contribute a point and I’d beg them to stay because I value them as human beings and the pleasure of their company
  
• If you have never considered leadership has this encouraged you to take control or if you are in a leadership roll has this put you off it with the extra responsibility? No change. We are likeminded, there is zero drama because we’ve been cruising in this fashion for long enough that people know the gig.
  
• Has this changed your clan in anyway either foreseen or unforeseen? Not yet, other than magnifying the already known fact that we’d benefit from having some more active players. Wish recruiting wasn’t such a bust

We smashed it, made it with 2 days to spare I think. As the leader when clan games came out I said to all members you either contribute to wars or CG’s. As a result we have probably 10 - 15 guys that just max the CG’s every time. It makes it easy, but honestly players are super active and if they’re not they get booted. Players burn out, it’s a fact, people are always welcome back but if you become innactive we will kick you....

also it’s really not that hard, we had one guy that got his 3k in less than a day.... and a week is a very reasonable amount of time to get there.

Clan Leader of a clan that's almost always full or sitting on 49 with some natural movement over time. I recruit active players to our Discord server and we've yet to have an issue meeting any of the Clan Game tiers. I do wish the number of visible challenges was consistently 12 no matter the length of the games but so far that's literally been my only issue. I do consider a players availability now when recruiting (so I guess that's changed). Previously if you were consistently always available for wars but didn't have time for much else I wasn't opposed to recruiting that person; now however I've actually passed up a couple of potential Guardians for that very reason.
