Hay Day database

Hi all,

I read this post earlier today and thought, "Why did I think I had to gather all the data all by myself?!" for a Hay Day database. Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder, gherkindil!

I created this Google sheet today from the database I'm gonna use to create a Hay Day info site for all of us to use. Please help out by filling in some info!

Don't want to be rude but do you really think there is no previous spreadsheet made? No need to do all the work by yourself. Thanks for sharing this to the community.

Also, you can find other valuable info on wikia. Ask Google/Bing/Yahoo/..

LOVE the spreadsheet!!!! Will take more of a look when I have time but it's off to a fabulous start. As for the Francophile - pfftttt. Some of us just have to have "our" spreadsheets regardless of there are other spreadsheets .... Maybe this one will be better!!!! Feel free to send me friend request! Happy Hay Daying!

Yes I know how to use the search feature. You might want to try it yourself. Try this: http://www.google.com/ and search for "database vs spreadsheet."

Thanks. Once I get the data, I'll be able to create a site with many features. I've actually already found a free hosting site and started with a very basic page: http://hayday.netne.net/

Please post feature requests here! For now, my idea is to have a basic list with the most useful data in the landing page, then you can drill down to more detailed data. So what is the most important data? That depends... we all play differently and would like to see different information. Let me know what you find important!

Yep, I know about it. Thanks though. I don't like the layout of the wiki... I prefer a list. Too many page clicks between pages to see info on multiple items.

I love your idea, especially that sorting and comparision is easy. Anyway, just wanted to point out what else is there. Good thing about the wiki is that it shows pictures of products. Before having all machines or animals available, I was asked to fill crates with products I would not know what they are. Ref: somebody was looking for salt recently, not knowing that it was goat milk in fact.

Yeah, I'm going to add images also, but maybe only on the detail page, so the front page loads quickly... or maybe smaller images next to the names - not sure yet.

Thank you for clarifying your intention. The difference with other spreadsheets was not clear in the original post. I thought you had difficulties collecting info. My point is you have infos floating around, even new ingredients are being discussed on the forum.

Features request (what's I'm currently have on my own spreadsheet):
- profit if make from your own stock
- profit if buy ingredients (1, 2, 3, 4...)
- total production time if ingredient production time is included
- ration price/time where time is either total production time or production time
- how much visitor pay
- how many XP points if used to fill boat
- how many diamonds needed to speed up/replace an ingredient
- what is the default price
- the most profitable product on each machine


Advance features :
- how to use product efficiently (how many boat points vs how many XP vs how many coins...in different uses)
- if I get a discount for my friends, what is the optimize price?

I think it would be helpful to have the boat order information available too, i.e. how many are usually requested per crate, etc. I know it's on a guide in the forum, but it might be nice to have all info about a product in one place...
