Credit Card Ad!!

I starred in my very own version of a credit card ad today!

Allow me to set the scene.

My 5 year old granddaughter who's home from kindergarten with a tummy bug asks while I'm doing laundry, "Granny, can I please play my piano game on your IPad?"

"Sure, baby, it's ok...just go sit down with it and be careful not to drop it."

Her little face lights up. "Thank you, Granny! I promise I'll be very careful!"

Laundry is done, more chores are attended, other kids come home from school, supper is prepared, hubby comes home from work, everyone eats, granddaughter is bathed and ready for bed, dishes are washed, Granny finally sits down.

"Where's my IPad? Ah, there it is..."

Opens Hay Day....

Half of apple jam stock sold to the visitors....Cost...16 jars
Coin account looted with nothing to show for it....Cost...$25,000
Every berry bush and tree picked clean....Cost....$15,000 for axes and saws to clear the dead debris and replace all
Boat in dock with timer ticking away....Cost....6 boat points
Tom announcing he's mine for ten days....Cost...100 diamonds

"Bella, darling baby, WHAT did you do to Granny's farm?" ...."You were so busy today, Granny, I helped you out by doing your farming for you."

enjoy Tom! You should be able to get all that stuff back and more. Except for the diamonds of course. But in 10 days you should glean at least 40 back. :)

OMG, what a great little helper you have. I told my 10 yr old she IS NOT allowed to help me on my farm unless I need trees watered from her farm.

My sister did basically the same thing when she babysat my farm while I was in the hospital, and she is 55 years old!

Thanks for all your generous offers to help recover, but as Vor said, the silver lining is having Tom.

I've already recouped the financial losses by sending his narcoleptic little fanny after diamond rings, then restocked the jam on another trip. I've got new bushes and trees in and flowering, so no biggie there either, but for the life of me I can't figure out what she spent the $25K on. There's no new animals, no overstock of other items, no new expansion items, no anything that I can tell. Oh, we'll, it's only money!!:D

OMG! I forgot to check my voucher count! If you hear a loud AAARRRGGGHHH any time soon, you'll know she hit those too!:rolleyes:

Thank you LadyJem5 for sharing your joy filled day, I laughed so hard I have tears... Seeing how we did not hear you moaning in agony, I take it your vouchers are safe and sound, thank heavens! Our lazy Tom (it normally takes several trips for him to bring me back nine items, lazy bones never finds me ten of anything...lol) can not replace those. Bless you for sharing with us, happy farming :rolleyes:
