Allow Clan Leaders To Set Minimum Clan Points To Receive Rewards Before Clan Games.

Exactly! MORE THAN JUST THE CLAN GAMES.

As long as those asking for a minimum level realise most mature decent clans that look at the holistic total approach would leave it at zero.

Let them have their minimum settings, and possibly they may consider that players behaviour can reflect leadership. Unreasonable expectations result in unreasonable behaviour.

I have become weary of games but also so appreciative of my awesome clan.

Personally, I like this idea.
You are managing your own clan, just getting better tools to do the job.

Booting people is such a blunt instrument.

I don’t like moochers or slackers, but I’ll be honest, this sounds like a childish request. Uh oh, someone might get something that you think they don’t deserve.......

If some how their presence in the clan games negatively affected the results, maybe, but even at that, just boot them afterwards and don’t worry what someone else is getting.

It's not much different to not attacking in war. Or going low for stars.
And at the end of the day it's only a tool available to the leader.
They can choose not to use it.

I don't like dictatorship in clan. If a person is not able to contribute because he got job, family, kids etc. I can understand that's more important and has to be first priority to anyone. But If person is active freeloading troops still not able to contribute that's another story.

OR... leaders could , you know, talk to their clan. send clan messages. ask everyone to work together to reach xyz-tier whatever.

I have get the feeling the kind of clan leaders that are asking for a restriction setting tool are children or at least really young people, who have never led a team, who have never worked in a team towards a deadline on a project where it really counts... so fair enough, they don't have those kind of leadership skills some of us take for granted.

But rather than asking for someone else to do it for them, isn't this a great opportunity to learn some?
Clan games seems to be vexing a lot of people... and the solution for many seems to be for SC to come up with some tool for these leaders to hamper their members gameplay at their leisure. This strikes me as wrong.

We learned how to deal with war, we will learn how to deal with clan games. SC need not interfere. We got this... honest! :smirk:

I've plenty of adults in my clan. I have 3 kids myself.

Again, it would just be a useful tool. I can't see this would be a bad thing.

To be fair you have no idea who I am, how old I am and the type of job I do. Not all of us have clans that are jam packed with mature adults who attack every war with 3 star attacks and max points in games.

Some people need development. And along with the carrot you may wish to use a stick. I think kicking people is a blunt instrument. I do kick sometimes. I can't see any interference from SC on this as it's up to the leader to use it or not.

OK then. Imagine, you set a minimum limit of 750 points to be able to claim the rewards. On the first day, you get 600 points. The following day, one of your children is ill and needs your attention. Naturally, the game takes a back seat for a day or so until your child is well. You come back to the game to find your clan has hit the top tier yet you cannot claim any of the rewards.

Good thing or bad thing ? Clan mates should be helping each other. That's kinda the point of being in a clan. In the scenario above, they all did indeed help each other (including you) but sadly you missed out due to a real life situation that has nothing to do with the game and how you could have performed in it otherwise.

Instead of being able to thank them for their participation and winning rewards for you, you have to miss out.

P.S. Hope your kids are all healthy and well, I just used that as an example.

I appreciate this. But again, it's up to the leader to set this. The leader may choose not to use it. Or alter it. I see no problem.
