So I'm curious...when I expanded my barn and silo to 400 I thought I'd never run out of room....now I'm at 600 and constantly am reaching max! At what point did you feel you had plenty of room or does that never happen?
Is there a max expansion size on barn and silo?

My silo is at 850 and I'll probably expand it when I level up to be able to grow the new crops. For now, it's a perfect size.
The barn is 825 and is good too. I tend to keep 8-10 of each item in stock except for saws/axes and things of that nature. I also try to keep more than that of dairy and sugar products, but otherwise that's a good size for me. I regularly fill it up to the brim but just sell off some animal feed to clear more space when I need it, and since I'm not expanding either it or the silo I sell off all BEMs and SEMs as soon as I get them.
Again, I'll probably need to expand a little when I get the new machines and crops.
Much of the reason why a lot of folks need bigger barns is to hold all the tools necessary to expand. Right now I'd need 96 tools to expand my barn again which means I'd have to sell off many of my products to clear the space to hold that many. If you're happy where you are, just don't store those tools.

Yes! That's the frustrating part is when all you need is 1-2 more of a bolt or plank and just can't seem to come across any or are not quick enough grabbing them in an ad, haha. Then all those tools take so much space in the barn and "the barn is full" is always popping up, haha.Quote:
