That's nice and all but... Could I get my fun back now?
Now I've been playing bit over a year. Had a blast for quite a while, but for few weeks, the fun is rapidly fading away. Why? I upgraded my TH to 10 and few days after, the last patch put it's nails into the coffin. I see the same issues bothering many of my clannies and quite some forumers, though I am only speaking for myself.
Now I get and accept the "pay to win", that the game has been from day1, but I'm having hard time to follow the "pay to play after certain point" ideology, especially as I have paid. No, I don't want my money back, I want my fun back. Fun of raiding and progressing in the game. Now I'm not doing either, as it appears am bleeding all my resources and gaining very little back. So the return of my time invested is really poor. I don't mind the 14d upgrades, but I do mind scraping 50k profits 20mins apart. And that's on a good day...
I had a discussion open on another thread, but very few did join in. But you know me, I rather discuss than fight...
So a bit more refined list of improvements is here:
These changes ought to improve the gameplay in all trophy ranges.

added comments to ideas to clear the "why"s
*** increased league bonus by one "notch", so everyone would get the bonus from one league level above them
(Possibly a small % increase of elixir to masters and up)
fairly easy to understand, more resources are needed to keep people progressing
*** defense victory bonus: 20% of the cost of the attacker's army + the search cost to find the target in gold (not cumulative, just the cost for that specific click)
Small bonus to defender for fending off an attack. Also gives bit back from DE zappers
*** progressive search cost. Start from 100, add 100 for every search, cap at 5000
Fight your own level, not snipe the easy targets. We don't really want all them TH3's in champs
*** 12 attacks or 6 hours online warrants a break for 5 minutes.
More available targets high up and farmers gotta play defense, too
*** 50 gems to boost 5 buildings for 4 hours (so 10 gems to boost spells and barracks for 4hrs)
So everyone could boost their stuff at least once a month.
*** shield after every defense. For every attempt, 20 min shield to restock CC and traps. Otherwise:
10 hr shield for 40%, 12 hrs for 60%, 14 hrs for 80% and 16hrs for 95%
( So no real benefit of having TH outside, as that's like 1% )
Stars would be awarded the same as now, only shields differently. More targets high up with shorter shields.
*** limit the min&max trophies won/lost to 5 & 35 Regardless of difference. (For 3* victory)
Bit less unpredictability for high up, reducing the desire to want to bend the rules
*** revenge cups limited to 0-40, also giving league bonus of the lower one's league.
No more big hits from cup droppers
*** one extra level on collectors for Th9, one more for Th10
More resources where it's needed most
The given numbers are just rough estimates, but they ought to be quite close to sweet spot.
Now, if you, the reader, agree with the suggested changes, say you agree. If you think something ought to be added/changed, write that. If you don't agree at all with anything, close the tab and move on.
Hopefully, by the end of the day, someone working for SC would comment on the whole thread... After that, you can bury this all to where ever. Till then, hoping this would stay in General.
