Really depends on what kind of QW you're going for and how compact is the base. I use 5 most of the time cos I need her to take down quite a few key defenses.
Why not you try 4 and see it works for you?
Probably best way is to accurately take a look about how many defenses will damages queen by the side I want to attack ?
Yup.
Look at it another way, if eg you're doing QW plus mass bowlers, would having (say) the 17th and 18th bowlers make as much a difference as an extra healer that might keep your queen alive a little bit longer.
You only need 4, but taking 5 allows you to lose one to a SAM.
