Are higher level heroes worth it?

Although the stats of high level heroes increases the regen time does as well. Overall, you get better usage out of high level heroes but more usage out of low levels. If you aren't planning on gemming large amounts, are high level heroes worth it?

Yes, the change from level to level is small but the difference in use between say a 1 and a 5 is pretty big. The regen time is a drawback but if thats a concern there are ways to use your heros so they don't take to much damage.

For farming easy bases low level heroes are nice since they can be used frequently. For trophy push or cracking tougher bases, however, higher level heroes make a huge difference as they really pack a heavy punch into their teens. Well placed (unlure-able) heroes are also great on defense - having AQ, BK, and CC troops joining defense late in the attack can really wreck an offense.

It was a thread about this a while ago and If I remember right it evens out at level 25. So worth it if you are going to upgrade it beyond that lvl. :)

Heroes reach the worst hp regen rate at level 11. Then it slowly starts to creep up until finally at level 26 it is equal to the rate at level 1. Starting at level 31 the regen rate increases rapidly because hero regen times are limited to 3h and thus stop increasing.

Yes, higher level heroes are worth it, for all sorts of reasons. For example, they start to really kick butt, they are prestigious, and what else are you going to spend all your DE on...?
[p.s. mine are BK 10, AQ 5, and geming their regen time is an amazing waste of gems]

IMHO upgrading heroes brings more cons than pros.

I play with 1 level heroes and very happy with them. Maybe for high Champions they matter but below that trophy range lvl1 is playable.
