I hope not.... Tesla are quite cheap and take ages to upgrade.
Perfect for when you want to tie up some builders.
After upgrading all my Tesla's to 6, it would be quite annoying to see everyone upgrade their Tesla's in half the time >:(
Possibly. I'm not really sure of the reasons for reducing the AT and WT times in the recent update, so difficult to say.
Dont know about air defense, but definitely teslas if the new lvl 8 teslas roll out.

I waited 14 days per level 7 tesla and while my builders were at work with them I always had one sleepy builder for my walls. Leave 3 or 4 builders, depending on how many you have, to work on teslas or whatever defense you want and have an extra one sleeping. Use that one for walls and next thing you know you'll have walls and all your defenses finished not far apart in time from each other. Cheers.
Lvl 1 Tesla's at TH9?! Damn... you need to get to work on those suckers. They can be really handy in defence.
I hope not, the highest dps defenses at th9 should not be easy to get. If you neglect them, I'm sorry to say you don't deserve them. I love seeing bases with level 1-3 teslas, but level 6-7 can ruin a raid!
I wouldn't be surprised if a level 8 tesla comes out eventually, even though its not necessary. Level 7's dps is almost identical to other max th10 point defenses.
Doubt it, the last two upgrades for the xbow are both 14 days.
I HOPE NOT! I spent the past 3 months at th9 catching up my sickening level 3 teslas to level 6 and if it was reduced i would rage HARD knowing I've wasted the time of 2 builders that could have finished the job in half the time!! :mad:
It doesn't seem like a good reason of why they would, I suspect a majority of gem spending comes from the speeding up of them... Any way I think other things will be worked on and not those. Lets hope they do though, mine are lvl 5
I hope not, because everyone will have high leveled teslas which are deadly. Should only be given to people who take the time to upgrade them with their long build times.

They could be. I bet people would have said the same thing about Archer Towers and Wizard Towers prior to this last update, but SC still decreased their upgrade times, so it is possible!
OP, do you have any legitimate arguments for why the time should be decreased other than not wanting to wait that long?

I think we will continue to see reduction in build times. Especially when new levels are released. Last two updates saw a new at and wt and both build times recieved a reduction.
Supercell wants newer players to have an opportunity to realistically catch up with players that have been playing for a year or more. This is the logical way to facilitate that.
You guys do understand there was a reason to reduce the build times on the AT and WT right? To match with the Cannon and Mortar. There is no disparity with the Tesla seeing as it's in a class by itself.
They might. To let lower people catch up faster. Don't think they will with teslas because of how powerful they are once maxed. But they might if they add another lvl since the maxed lvl is already at 14 days
I honestly hope they don't, as someone who as actually upgraded mine already. They're already cheap, having a long time for both only makes sense. Not to mention that idk why they'd reward people for upgrading prematurely.
Level 1 teslas? You shouldn't be at TH9 lol.
On topic. I hope not. Upgrade times are fine as it is, IMO. It's just one of those things that you have to bite the bullet, and endure in the short term, because hell, those lvl 7/8 AD and lvl 7 teslas kicks some serious butt when they're done.
