likes

A few weeks back , I connect with a friends facebook account so I could get some gifts of the game and after that i disconnect the account.
(Personally I do not own a facebook account)

Since then, occasionally, I have seen a few "likes" while I am in the game, without previously being connected to facebook with any account (for example “John liked your farm)”!
How is this possible?

I also noticed that when I play the game if I go to the small “star” button in top center of the screen, I see that the Like counter is a big "F", but if I get connected with a facebook account counter change to “151”. If I try a different account (any account), the counter still showing the same number!

How can someone like my farm without me having a facebook account?

And if some of you wander why I m asking this and whats the big deal with a few likes… it’s a matter of trust between two people!
I m saying that I don’t own a facebook account but someone else does not believe me!

I'm no facebook expert, not by a long chalk, but I think it doesn't matter that you don't have a facebook account - the people who click like will have it show up as a "blah blah liked blah blah's farm" on their news feed on face book, not the facebook page of the person being liked.

1) I don't have a facebook account!
2) I see the "like pop-up" inside the game and not in some facebook profile!

And that counter (151 likes) why still stays the same, even when i m logged out from my friends account (which by the way does not play this particular game)?

As I said, it shows on their profile not yours if you have one. They are liking you within the game, not facebook itself, just the same as you can like someone by pressing the smiley face on their farm. As for "finding" your farm, there are many ways your farm might be visited, by friends, followers, newspaper visitors, boat leader board etc. They press "like" simply because they like your farm. Some people like getting "likes", some aren't bothered. It doesn't effect the game play at all.
Most people only actually connect the game to face book to get more friends on Hay Day and therefor have more neighbours to shop sell to and shop from and so that they earn more slots on the RSS and to keep a note of how many likes they have. As you have discovered it's easy to connect and disconnect to just see how many likes you have.

So the "likes" that i get from the "smiley face", are showing in the "facebook counter"?

Yes. Bear in mind that the game creators know that thousands of people won't have a facebook account, especially children, but that they will still enjoy being able to gather 'likes' and to give likes and so it still works whether you are connected or not . You only actually see the likes if you press connect. As I say, I am no expert but that's my interpretation of it.
