Need hero upgrading strategy

Hello there,

My strategy is to max out everything available at every town hall level. That being said, I have to max out my heroes at TH9 before moving to TH10 without being out of war for an extended period of time. So far the strategy I have thought of is that I get my queen to lvl 10 as soon as possible after my upgrade to TH9 finishes. And then I go like this. I spend 3 weeks leveling both my heroes up by 5 levels, then i go to war for 2 weeks, and repeat the process until the heroes are maxed. Is is a good plan and what you guys would suggest. Yes, I know not many people max their heroes at TH9 but I'm not one of those, because if I max out whats available to me at a certain level, I'll have that much less work to do on the next town hall level.

Let me start by saying congrats on your decision to max out at th9. I did it, and you’re right it made the transition too th 10 much easier. Next I’ll say as a f2p person it was a long grind on heroes and walls. I took each hero up 5 levels at time, and it seemed to work well for me. It’s unavoidable to mis war when each hero upgrade takes a week at a time. My best advice is help out in the clan games all you can the book of heroes is a huge help.

I'm very nearly maxed regarding heroes (and done with everything else). I did what you're considering and what BB43 mentioned too by taking each one up 5 at a time, beginning with AQ from Lv10.

Worked well, but for me it's much easier to farm with the AQ up, so recently I've been using the Book of Heroes on her only since I farm fine while King is sleeping. Just pushed the th10 button and should be able to finish BK levels off quickly before/just after the upgrade finishes.

If your babyloon troops are maxed, thats the strategy that I recommend. When max heroes where 45 thats what i did for last 10 levels each hero. I babylooned until i started my BK UG then continued without him. I just was a little more cautious about bases to raid. Then I UG AQ. You can start again when BK is up, but I needed a break and waited till both were done, wash-rinse-repeat. Going a little slower on heroes now, but AQ maxed and BK is L47.

Thats a good strategy, if you can stomach wasting dark elixir if you get to farm fast enough.

I opted for the same, but with a twist.

I upgraded queen to 10 first, then I started upgrading both at the same rate until lvl 30. I told that to the clan leader and opted out of wars until maxed heroes, then I warred non stop for like 2 months. But I was a farm monster lol.

up your AQ to lv10 then save up enough DE until you can upgrade both AQ & BK to lv11 before you put both of them to sleep so you can war while saving up DE. you can do this quite easily up to both heroes are lv25 (utilizing the treasury and a little bit of farming at the last few levels) this way, you minimise your down time from war.

Hi, i'm also a th 9 my royals are bk 22 and aq 25. I always upgrade my heroes the same time so I can save time in opting out of wars. My clan don't allow joining wars with any of my heroes down. With this upgrading strategy i am able to join clan war once or twice after the 7-day upgrade. The reason i do this is i dont want to get rusty with war attacks cause i'm a war player. I discourage grinding heroes from lvl 0 to 30 non-stop because the player will have lack of exposure and experience with the cw.

Edit: btw, my queen is already level 25 because of the book of heroes thanks SC for that. 😊😊😊

Don’t use dark troops to raid dark elixir.
if you do use dark troops make it count.
its all about return on investment
