How do I tell a clan goodbye?

Tell them "It's not you, it's me" line.....always works

It does sound like you are leaving a nice clan though, could you ask for them to inject some mini competitions or something to spice it up?

I've done it before! It is good sometime to see other clans and meet other people for good. This is your game afterall and one of the most important feature of this game is the social aspect. You may not come back but if your clan is the best one you may return as you gave so much to it already.

I left mine for visiting a Friend. After that I left 48 hours to try iQuit. Both were great clans but I found mine was much better. Sometime the people make the difference.

You cannot know for sure that a clan is good unless you go and check on other clans.
If you realize your current clan is the best for you. How can you come back if you left in bad terms?
Your game would be broken for bad reasons.

My final advice would be to trust your instincts.
You always have to adapt your speech depending on the person you talk to. By experience I would not recommend to be honest. Sometime people can't handle honesty or it is just not a good day for them. They might just overreact and ban you. It is not manipulation it is just avoiding unnecessary conflicts. Never forget that you don't see whose in front of you. Chat could be misleading.

I did that. I returned a year later after I found out the clan wasn't deleted. On the contrary, here was one inactive leader, nothing more, nothing less. :rolleyes:

Whenever I'm in a clan unless I personally know someone in it I just leave without warning.

If youre planning to come back, then just say youll be back another time and gonna go explore the world!

but if you're not coming back....just say you want to explore other clans and that that clan is great, but you just need a change! :o Tell them how you loved their clan and all.
Its always sad to say goodbye, but thats life....
