Where have all the strawberries gone?

It's amazing what a difference an update can make. I can't find one strawberry in the DD today. Even my friends' stalls are empty. Who knew that you could make red dye from strawberries? But love the new update SC!

Yes very clever of SC to solve the abundance of Strawberry sales. Wonder what we could make out of B&E ? Solve that one & we'd have a readable DD. :cool:

maybe the BLT salad and the egg sushi will help.

I was lucky and found 15 today in the DD. ;) I have a feeling that they will come back after everyone produces enough scarves and strawberry jams, maybe not as abundant as before. So, indeed, a clever move from SC.

OMG!! I just got the craziest idea because of your comment!! BENTO BOX!! It would fit in perfectly in the sushi bar even if it's technically not "sushi". We could have some rice, some fish, some lettuce and/or tomato and to top it off: B&E!! Sounds like a perfect bento box is you ask me! And a great way to add some value to the notoriously hated B&E.

P/S. For those who are not familiar with Japanese cuisine, a bento box is basically a "lunch box", often found in Japanese restaurants, can have 3-4 different items in it incuding some veggies.

What a great idea! I love it!

A strawberry or olive might make a nice addition to a bento box. (Sure, a real bento box would probably have a pickled plum, but the olive is the closest thing we have available.)

It took me half an hour to find 90 strawberries to plant overnight. Shocking! It usually takes me no more than 2 passes through the newspaper to get my nightly quota of strawberries. I am going to have to start selling them at full price again, and stop selling them to the 'bots.
