It depends on how you like your games, but Hay Day sure is worth a try! :)
IMHO, farmers make better clashers than clashers make farmers.
Playing HayDay you need loads of patience, and it’s not about getting to the next level fast enough. You need resource management!
And at least in the beginning there isn’t the interaction with other farmers that you may have in CoC. Find a good NH, help them, and they help you, and all is good.
HD is more laid back too. There’s not a lot of ‘frantic’ attacks on other farms. Except when shopping in the DD for that last bolt you need.
And in HD, nothing ever dies. Well the trees and bushes do, but not because of lack of attention. The animals will look hungry, but if you leave for several days or months or years, they will still be there for you.
Try it!
You will become ADDICTED!! I’ve tried Clash & just didn’t get it.
I know of more than a few clashers who have recently starting farming. It is far more laid back and chill than clash, but it becomes their zen corner.
no need to worry about anyone invading your space, taking a break... it is your space to do what you want with it and it will always be as you left it.
it may take a few levels to get it as it was for me and clash. It helps to have someone you know to help you through the first levels.
I played COC hard core for 3 years before Hay Day. Have 7 accounts LOL, 5 I play hard.
Came to Hay Day and fell in love. Probably 80% of my game time is Hay Day. Play 4 farms now. (Yes, I have issues but wife plays multiple accounts in both right with me)
They are different. But Hay Day soothes me more. COC just added clan games, a Derbyish achievement game which I love. So playing COC with a bit more joy.
But Hay Day has my heart now.
It's an business/economy game just as much as a farm game.
I was a CoC player before I was a Hay Day player. I found CoC less interesting as time went on. I no longer play it and have tried a couple of times to get back into it, but can't get back into it.
That being said, I have played Hay Day for 4 years now, I took about a 1.5 year break as I was playing another game, but eventually picked it back up and am still enjoying it.
As other have mentioned, it definitely runs at a different pace... which is really whatever pace you run it at. I prefer the slower, work the events for coins and XP, than try to spend my way to the top.
Well, not even 24 hours played but I almost had forgot my war attack.. lol
Its awesome.
I'll be lvl10 and join neighbourhoods [clans, maybe]
I NEED A GOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD
You may even find some fellow clashers that have a NH (not clan, in HD). Do look here: https://forum.supercell.com/forumdis...od-Recruitment
or post here: https://forum.supercell.com/forumdis...a-Neighborhood
add Friends to your in-game book using you farm Tag# here: https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...HARE-farmer-ID
There is another thread to add to Facebook just below that one.
Take a look in the “New to HayDay” section also.
Glad to here you are enjoying farming of a different kind.
